Super comfortable bed, quiet room on level 7. Efficient check in and offer to help with bags. I had bar snacks and a drink which were adequate but did need to query the price as I had ordered a smaller sized beverage but was given a larger drink. This was due to the staff member being distracted by a rude and drunk patron while serving me.
It is beautiful hotel that is own by the Māori people. Food was amazing and the rooms too. I really appreciated the rich Māori spiritual connection to the
land. You can see throughout the hotel. Kudos!
This is a beautiful hotel, which is made even better by it being on the airport site. The rooms are spacious and modern, with beautiful fit-out. The gym was sufficient. The staff were friendly and professional, although the check-in process for each person was oddly long and resulted in us all queuing. This was a lovely stay and well worth the cost.
Only criticism was check- in. As with our previous stay, there was a delay due to numbers arriving.
The staff person appeared to believe there was only one guest when the reservation clearly showed 2.
We had requested upgrade to lounge access and informed it would be confirmed on arrival. The staff member said nothing and it appears would not have done unless I asked if the requested access was available.
The lounge was fairly busy but not full.
Restocking of food items was quite slow and at times there was very little left on the table.
