We loved all aspects of the accommodation especially the views and decor. Note. Has the cleaner found and tablet medication and personal scissors and nail files. Could have been left in bathroom or second bedroom both in small plastic bags.

This property is a traditional beach cottage in a stunning location with great access to the beach, and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The sun shone for the four days we were there...what a magical part of the world Onetangi Beach is when the weather is your friend, we enjoyed ourselves so much - swimming, walking and visiting a couple of the local wineries. And because of the weather we made great use of the patio/ deck area to the front of the house...what a vista from here. Check in and check out were dead easy and Rosemary Jane was very responsive to any questions we had. If you are looking for a beach cottage experience in a beautiful part of Waiheke, you will enjoy yourselves here.

The Onetangi Beach House was just what we needed for a break on Waiheke. Fully equipped with everything that you need in a character-filled house - with comfy beds! The enclosed sunroom/verandah was perfect for dining with a view or relaxing with a drink. Loved the fabulous outdoor shower/bath and use of kayaks and bikes. A short walk to the beach or to the always fabulous Casita Miro restaurant. We'd love to stay again.

Outstanding Beach House

Lovely private house with everything you could wish for in a fabulous elevated position and only 8 minutes walk to the beautiful Onetangi beach. Very comfortable with lots of places to just chill. Perfect getaway with stunning views.

If you're into the batch theme certainly look no further than here. The place is nestled neatly in the Onetangi hillside offering up those magnificent views and coastal sounds. Literally a 2min walk to the beach and situated with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Perfect Place

We loved this property. It has a bachy feel to it but with modern kitchen, bathroom etc. Lots of books, games etc. Beautiful views. Perfect location right near the beach. We hope to come back. 10/10.

The batch we always wanted!

We simply loved Jane and her family’s bach!They treated the guests who stay as family, with a huge amount of trust which we loved and of course respected. Wonderfully located close to the beach and with so many little nooks to read a book in!

We liked the pic of the bach in the 1930s. Nicely updated in a comfie way. Quality beds & Linen - kitchen well stocked with crockery etc. Good BBQ (to keep men busy).Loved the basic outdoor table on sunporch with great view of beach.

Gorgeous, cosy home with sensational views

I travelled to New Zealand with two of my nieces (aged 27 and 18 respectively) and we had the most magical stay on Waiheke Island at Onetangi Waiheke Beach House. The house is absolutely beautiful - comfortable and cosy, with beautiful light and stunning views. We felt so at home there that we really didn't want to leave! Our host, Jane, was wonderful. She patiently answered questions and made us feel very welcome. We would happilly recommend the Onetangi Waiheke Beach House to anyone!

Amazing view of beach- with gardens and BBQ courtyard

Excellent large, spacious rustic and very quaint lodge dating back to 1930’s Amazing views - balcony with stunning sea view, additional outdoor bath and shower to relax. Very clean for such a rustic cottage. Perfect location for strolling to town Beautiful birdsong and stargazing from balcony. Wonderful gardens that are behind the cottage too. Loved our 3 night stay.
