I had a terrifying and traumatic experience during my stay on July 5, 2025. While alone in my room (in my pajamas), someone was given a key to my room due to a "system malfunction" and entered without knocking or warning. I screamed, and they left immediately, but I was completely shaken. I later learned the front desk had mistakenly issued my room key to another guest and sent maintenance up without notifying me.
The situation was made worse by the staff’s rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of taking accountability, the front desk blamed the system and showed zero concern for my safety. No manager ever followed up, apologized, or checked on me. I was so distressed I had to take medication to sleep and am still emotionally shaken.
If you care about safety, privacy, and professionalism, I cannot recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed and disturbed.
