Casa Tranquila • Pool, Ping Pong, Game Room & More

Casa Tranquila runs on desert time in East Austin's Holly neighborhood — oak, concrete, and clean lines warmed by clay tones throughout.

3 bedrooms, 2 full baths: a king suite upstairs with a private desk and jewel-tone tiled ensuite, a queen room dressed in rust and kilim textiles, and a full bedroom with its own private patio access.

Downstairs, a folk-art-lined living room flows into an oak kitchen and dining nook, then hands off to a moody green game room — poker, darts, foosball, and a queen sleeper sofa.

Out back: a pool framed by teak loungers and scalloped umbrellas, a fire pit, covered dining for 8, disc golf, ping pong, and cornhole, with string lights carrying the evening past sundown. Minutes from downtown — close enough for a night out, far enough to feel like an escape.

The place was perfect for our family. We enjoyed many of the restaurants on the east side, and the proximity to the Moody Center and DKR was great. The pool was well shaded on a hot day.
