The home was lovely. It was perfect for four couples who were in town for a wedding. The extra little touches by the owner were very much appreciated. Especially the coffee supplies. Highly recommend.Please note this rental is two separate houses with two bedrooms in each house

Matt’s home was the perfect spot for a family Thanksgiving meet up. Everyone was warm, cozy, and able to fully enjoy a long weekend of relaxation and fun. Matt was very responsive and an amazing host, and we would definitely stay here again.

This is a BEAUTIFUL property! We wanted a secluded and quiet vacation rental just to be with Family and celebrate a 70 year birthday. The homes had the perfect "vibe" for us, as we have Equestrians, Artists, Photographers, Grand Tetons Hikers/Campers, and Vinyl Collectors in our Family. The design and decor provided much of this for our enjoyment. The property was very clean, the kitchens well stocked, and the beds/baths were nothing short of luxurious. Communication with Matt was easy, prompt and thorough. Our weather was "hot", so we spent a lot of time inside chatting, telling stories, playing Texas Hold 'Em, and several brutal take down rounds of UNO! We enjoyed morning coffee on the outdoor patio, evenings on the screened porch, and a big highlight was watching the Mama cows and babies when they visited at the property line. The after dark outdoor lighting is nothing short of spectacular. We wanted to spend as much time as possible on the property, so we ordered BBQ to be brought in from an excellent place in Mexico, MO., but did go to Fulton, MO Saturday for Birthday dinner in town. Both were excellent! We prepared Breakfast in the fabulous main house kitchen and we ALL fit around the beautiful dining table. Although a remote location, it would be ideal for events located at the Missouri Military Academy, William Woods University, and University of Missouri...ballgames, graduations, etc. Thank you, Matt, for allowing our Family to enjoy time together at your homes.

The perfect place

Cannot say enough good about this property and property owner! The attention to detail is second-to-none ... and if I started a list (beautiful decor, cozy fireplaces, magnificent farmhouse table and chef-ready kitchens) I'd surely miss important details (Alexa, multiple coffee stations, Ghirardelli chocolates). This was ... by far ... the best vrbo we've ever encountered.

Stunning Country Accomodations

Amazing country retreat! Here's a breakdown of the highlights: * **Beautiful and comfortable:** The moment you enter, the house feels modern, serene, and inviting. It's decorated beautifully (interior designer decorated) and has a fresh, light floral scent throughout. * **Great amenities:** There are TVs with satellite channels, snacks throughout the house, and a coffee/espresso bar in the kitchen. Spacious tables for dining with family and friends. A awesome screened in porch and a fire pit outside. * **Unique guest house:** The second house has a rock and roll theme, with a "Stevie Nicks room" that is particularly impressive. * **Plenty to enjoy:** There's so much to discover here that I could keep writing for the next 15 minutes. By far this is the best country retreat I have stayed at in Missouri. The only regret is not staying longer, so it seems perfect for a long getaway. Overall, this is a fantastic option for a relaxing and enjoyable country retreat in Missouri. If you're looking for a beautifully decorated house with great amenities and a unique guest house, this could be the perfect place for you!

The very best family gathering home

This property works really well for 4 couples and babies. Matt, the owner, is very available. The homes are just like the beautiful pics. And the kitchens are well suited for meal prep. The outdoor areas are beautiful and so nicely laid out for enjoyment for all. All 8 of us were delighted with this property and there was talk to do this again. You won't be disappointed!

A dream come true

We booked this property for 6 friends and 2 children to stay for our wedding in Fulton. The property was beautiful, the pictures posted on the listing do not do it justice. Both homes are magical! Matt was very kind and pleasant to work with. They made our stay feel special. Our friends and family from Arizona said they are only visiting again if they get to stay here!

Beautiful place to stay for Mizzou football game!

We loved our stay so much we chose take out from Shakespeare’s and skipped staying out in Columbia after the game to head back to the house. Lovely place to spend a weekend catching up with friends. Matt was the best VRBO host we have ever had and went above and beyond to make our stay blissful. We all decided we can no longer stay anywhere else when traveling to CoMo!

Friend reunion

We loved our 3 day stay at this AMAZING property! It was the perfect place for us (4 couples) to stay during our travels to Columbia for a football game. The drive to campus was a breeze and it was so convenient to come back to the house for meals, relaxing on the beautiful porches, and enjoying the peaceful private grounds. The interiors of the two houses are just as pictured. You will feel like you are staying in a 5 star resort! The hosts are very responsive and have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. I highly recommend Matt’s beautiful home.

My family gathered to celebrate my 60th birthday and this was the perfect space. Places where they could go to get away and wonderful gathering spaces to all be together. I've never had a better stocked kitchen and living spaces. Professionally decorated made for a beautiful setting inside and out. A huge thank you to our host.
