The pictures from the balcony were the deciding feature for choosing the villa, gorgeous views overlooking the water, and so very quiet, we appreciated being high up on the hill and got in lots of steps going up and down four flights a few times each day. This particular villa is not recommended for anyone who cannot carry their luggage up/down the steps, or have a physical disability walking. We were in a beautifully decorated villa with plush towels in the bathroom, nice art on every wall, and a well stocked kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals, although we ate out every meal except for breakfast. The six-person golf cart was easy to use, and gas was expensive, but it was very efficient and our five day stay only required one gallon to top off the tank. The rental office was very helpful when we couldn't remember the wifi code so be sure to check the texts from them where it was first listed. The villa was clean and the requirements for leaving it were reasonable, not much to pick up after other than ensuring a clean kitchen, although we did strip the beds and put the sheets and used towels in a pile. The condo association rules are very specific so read them carefully, especially regarding quiet time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back without hesitation next time we choose Catalina for a vacation!
