Alizea is very dirty. I was bitten several times by what I hope and pray were mosquitoes, but fear were bedbugs. The entire hotel needs a DEEP cleaning from top to bottom.
Also, the pipe that fills the tank of the toilet in my room was leaking, I had to turn the water on for every flush and then off after. The shower head has no holder, very awkward to shower with one hand.
Some of the staff were friendly, but others were not at all. I expect a Bonjour or Bon soir Madame every time I enter the hotel and an Au revoir bonne journee or bonne soiree every time I leave. I have worked in hospitality for over 30 years and one of the first things I learned was to make eye contact, smile and give an appropriate greeting or farewell with every guest every time. This goes a LONG way to providing good service and it doesn't cost the hotel any money. I took photos, but can't figure out how to share them from my gallery to this review.
