SOUND SIDE Avon. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with breath taking views you have it !! Enjoy the sound side views from your private balcony, beach access just .7 miles away !! Located inside the home , choose from four bedrooms. Private bedroom on bottom level with own full bathroom and access to outdoors. Middle level two bedrooms with one queen bedroom, second bedroom full bed, double bunks with trundle as well as full bath.. All of top floor is master suite with spacious full bath with jacuzzi tub and full shower. Also, balcony on 3rd floor overlooking the sound. Full access to sound, bring kayaks and paddleboard's to enjoy! Outdoor shower with hot water (Guest must bring propane tank). Creek accessible to small skiffs, jon boats and small center consoles. Home is very close to all the conveniences , 4x4 ramps 34 & 38 are within 2 1/2 miles . Foot access is 1/2 mile away, Avon Pier 0.7 miles , Food Lion 1.6 miles. Restaurants: Mad Crabber, Oceana Bistro, Burger Burger, Turners High Moon Bar and Grill, Subway , Ugly Mugs Coffee shop all within 1/2 mile. Pool ( fee charged ) Tennis and Koru Spa less than a mile .

You can book with peace of mind
We rented this property directly after a storm that caused power outage, ect. There were a few issues on arrival and the owner responded immediately and had someone come right over to handle the concerns. We really enjoyed the privacy. We even had a buck walk through the lawn one night! We expressed to the owner concerns of the property needing additional cleaning and he responded appreciatively for the notification. I feel you can book this property with peace of mind knowing the owner will be available and address concerns positively.

Wonderful cottage!
Josh is a great host! Very prompt with replies and was super flexible with the inclement weather. The location is wonderful for kids and they loved the canal. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Roomy cottage. Lots of space. We had a lovely time!

Nice area with beautiful sunsets
Almost everything was as expected - there was 1 additional bed listed which has since been corrected in the listing. Table accommodates 7 max. Plenty of privacy. Owners were very responsive when I called. The largest issue for me was the house needs a thorough cleaning. Very convenient beach access close by, grocery store, seafood markets, beach gift shops, etc. You had to drive farther for other excursions. Recent storms and high water levels left flooded roads in areas, which in turn caused the septic to overflow a little bit but didn’t cause an issue in the house. Otherwise, a fun time was had by all 10 of us. I am glad we got to enjoy the outer banks!

Comfortable house on a quiet street over looking the sound
We had a lovely family vacation at this house. The house is quite large with plenty of space for our group (6 adults and 2 kids). 3 more kids could have easily fit in the bunk bed room. The house is about a 15 minute walk from the beach. We brought a cart which was helpful to carry beach stuff. The owners were very responsive and the kitchen was well stocked for a rental property, except for sharp knives (bring your own if you like to cook). Outdoor shower was great- even has hot water- remember to leave soap and shampoo out there. There is a little creek on the property and the kids loved watching the crabs and fish and the sunsets were amazing.

Quiet home convenient to everything
House was comfortable for 8 adults with the 4 BR's and 3 baths. Having Bedrooms on all 3 levels allowed for privacy. Loved how quiet Avon was quiet yet the house was within walking distance of the beach, coffee shops, restaurants and shops and a short drive to Avon Pier with parking and bathrooms. House was clean. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Sunsets on the deck were amazing each night.

Excellent Place to Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It is very clean and well maintained. I loved that it was close to everything but also kind of private with the trees and bushes on the Sound. I loved seeing the deer while sipping our morning coffee on the porch. Josh was very responsive to my texts. We would definitely consider staying here again.
