Hotel itself is well maintained, however we had a multitude of issues that are still causing hassle now. Having 3 people stay in the room with 2 beds, we would constantly need to ask for more facilities such as towels as every day they would remove our towels and cups and only leave 1 towel and 1 cup despite the booking being for 3 people. This happened every night for the whole four nights we were there. On top of this when we checked in we were told to put our car registration onto the paperwork but never told to fill out any iPads or anything, until we saw the iPads a couple of days later and asked if we needed to fill out and they said yes we should’ve been prompted which we weren’t at all and they were shocked themselves. Now we have come back home we are coming back to parking fines which we are being told they ‘might’ be able to get back for us when we weren’t told the proper procedure in the first place.

Car park extortion

Double bed was very good shame about the sofa bed single for our daughter. Proper bed would be more useful. Good breakfast enough choice for our gluten-free family member. Absolutely outrageous charging hotel customers for parking their cars in hotel car park. The rooms are expensive enough as it is. The system you have in place is adequate to identify customers and people who may abuse your hospitality. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely wonderful hot breakfast. Made to order items and other options available. Rooms were clean, blackout curtains made sleep easy and our suite even had two toilets, which we have never seen in a hotel before but was so helpful having 4 in our room.

The best Holiday Inn I've experienced

The best Holiday Inn I've experienced. With well-furnished rooms, kept clean and in working order. Good gym setup, with a great sauna and steam room. The only downside was the frankly ridiculous price for parking on top of the price of the room.

Highly recommended

This was our second time staying in this hotel. Although somewhat outside the town, it still seems to be a focal point for locals. It covers a huge area and, on both occasions, our rooms were a fair step from the reception but the room was spacious clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning actually worked. The breakfast selection was extensive and well provisioned. Lots of parking at a reasonable cost. All in all, highly recommended

Two 2 bags 2 coffee and i decaffeinated 2 white sugar 2 brown and 2 milk and 2 sweetners. Inadequate amount for 2 drinks at night and 2 in the morning. Not happy. A couple of packets of biscuits wouldn't have gone amiss either.

Staff were very helpful and attentive, room was very spacious and clean. There should be the choice in bedrooms for a slip mat to go in the bath. I also feel that the ability to choose a teabag for personal use in bed room would be welcome as well would access to a Sunday paper. I think a 5 might then be earned.
