Lake Huron Harbor Getaway-Walk to Downtown and the Beach

A sure crowd pleaser, this home has all you could want for your vacation stay. A short walk to Harbor Beach’s sandy beach. Enjoy the view of the historic Harbor Beach Lighthouse, while bathing on the beach, as the kids play on the playground on the beach. Go fishing with the kids for smallmouth, salmon, and lake trout, from the pier or launch your boat a mile from the house
Walk to town and grab lunch from one of the several lunch spots. Pop into one of the local museums or take a boat ride to tour the lighthouse and transport back in time.
After a day of water, fun and sun, head back to the Harbor House and stretch out on the large sectional. Let the kids watch a movie and play a game of pool as you wind down for another fun filled day on the Harbor.

Spacious home just a few blocks from park and the beach. Owner very responsive. House was very clean and had updated appliances. We did not really get to enjoy the firepit but it was a nice idea. Game room was a fun area to hang out with family. Beds were comfortable and good water pressure in shower.

Property was accurately described. Very comfortable for kids and adults alike. We thoroughly enjoyed the living room with the pool table and the cozy outdoor space and fire pit. Huge bonus that the public beach is one block across the street. Made for really easy access for my family (with small kids). The beach was clean & not crowded so very relaxing! The house and communication was great! Only word of caution for families with small children is that the house is on a “main” road. My 7/5 year old it was no issue but really had to watch the 2 year old outside :) The locals directed us to Smalley’s, Ernesto’s pizza and the local ice cream shop- none of which disappointed. Great overall stay!

Easy check in! Kitchen had regular appliances and dishes. Nice firepit area! Property was clean, but the cleaning staff forgot to wash towels and linen so we had to wash them. But overall our stay was great!

Great house

Large 1st floor, open with gathering areas. Kitchen was functions with an outside grill. We cooked every night and sat outside on the patio and by the firepit. Walking distance to the pier.

We had some check-in bumps d/t a new cleaning crew. Jared was extremely responsive and remedied the shortcomings within an hour. The updated patio/fire pit were lovely and the location was great. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Harbor Beach very much. We had 4 adults and 3 kids staying at the house and it felt like there was more than enough space for all of us. We didn't feel like we were living on top of each other. In fact, the house felt more spacious than the pictures led us to believe, which is always a pleasant surprise. There were plenty of towels and other necessary items during our stay. The walk to the beach and the downtown shops/restaurants was short and easy. The beach was quieter than most touristy spots. We look forward to returning!

Large enough for a group our size, well stocked with supplies, nice decor. Great location for families who want to go to the beach, tennis, kayaking, ice cream, and the downtown area is walking distance. King size bed was super comfy!

The location to the beach was perfect. There was nothing to do in town at the time of our vacation.

The house was very roomy. The stairs were a little rough for children. The location to the beach and town was perfect. But unfortunately at the end of August there was nothing to do in town. All in all it was good.

This rental house was everything we wanted and exactly as advertised for our girls getaway. Conveniently located within walking distance to town, beach, kayak rentals and bike rentals. House had everything we needed with dishes, towels, bbq, a fire pit, and even a pool table. Spacious and comfortable house. Clean and neat. Very responsive and communicative owner. Perfect!

Property and the owner were very good. The area though had an odor from the local factory and the beach/water wasn't as clean as we had hoped. We had to drive about 30 miles to find an adequate beach.
