Our charming vacation rental, the Berg-Domizil Bad Lauterberg, is idyllically situated on a vineyard, between Bad Lauterberg’s local mountain and the Kummelberg—home to the Bismarck Tower—and is the ideal starting point for beautiful hikes in the Harz Mountains.

The bright combined living room and bedroom features a comfortable box-spring bed, a large (sleeper) sofa, a TV, and a dining table. The long window front and the spacious balcony offer a wonderful view of the forested local mountain.

The apartment features a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, as well as a separate, fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, and microwave.

The apartment is perfect for couples who love hiking. However, an additional sofa bed provides extra sleeping space.

Our “mountain home” is located in a quiet, terraced residential complex. It is accessible via one of the steepest streets in the Harz Mountains, with a 21% grade. On the other side, however, there is also a less steep access route. Our beautiful basement apartment is accessible via a staircase. Several hiking trails start right in front of and behind the house and lead to the local mountain and the Bismarck Tower, both of which offer places to stop for refreshments and stunning views of the town and the Harz Mountains.

The bustling downtown area of Bad Lauterberg is just a 5–10-minute walk away via the steep street. The town center is perfect for strolling. The many shops, restaurants, and cafés attract plenty of visitors to the Harz region. You’ll also find bakeries and grocery stores there for your daily needs.

Free Wi-Fi is included. Parking spaces are available at the building and can be used free of charge.

In the basement, right next to the apartment, you can store bicycles, mountain bikes, or winter sports equipment.

Schöner Startpunkt für Ausflüge in den Harz

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dieser Wohnung zu viert verbracht. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Sie ist schön eingerichtet so das man sich wohlfühlt. Von Bad Lauterberg hat man einen guten Startpunkt um den Harz zu erkundigen. Die Innenstadt ist nur eenige gehe Minuten entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
