Fawn Haven Cabin Bailey Colorado Huge Deck with View and 1 Acre Fenced Dog Run
Fawn Haven Cabin a truly inspirational home near the North Fork of the South Platte River and Pike National Forest in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Located 45 minutes from Denver. Exterior camera system installed to allow adults to keep an eye on children playing on 2 acres (wilderness). Feel free to turn off. No events allowed. Lots of dvds to choose from on the large tv but no cable tv. HDMI inputs. Xbox with Netflix, HBO Max, Prime video or any app you want to download. No hot tub. No washer.
Wonderful pet friendly stay! Amazing views with a dog run for the dogs, was a little steep and dogs couldnât really run and play and the shoot down to the dog run was a little unstable. Could have been cleaner didnât seem like they ever did deep cleans, lots of dust bunnyâs and showers were pretty outdated with layers of old caulk on top of each other. Overall it was a nice place just in need of some updates!
Good communication with host. We loved the location with spacious deck and view of sunrise over the mountains. The cabin could use updating but it offered good space and supplies (cookware & dishes, extra blankets, towels, etc), for our group of seven adults. We had a great stay.
The views were spectacular! The house roomy, comfortable and well appointed with all the amenities listed and more. My only criticism is that it was run down. The property outside was overgrown and there were piles of junk everywhere. (not garbage). The interior was quite comfortable and quirky (in a good way) but also very much in need of some TLC. We brought our dogs and they loved the huge dog run. It was a great location, and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
The property owner was nice and responsive. Bring your own pillows and bed. Try not to use fridge and no laundry available. And maybe beware of ceiling caving in.
Perfect, beautiful location for our stay. We were attending a concert at the RedRocks and wanted a wooden location to stay. This was perfect. I would not recommend this location if you have young kids. The deck and the scenery were absolutely perfect!
My boys, our dog, and myself stayed here for 4 nights during our annual hiking trip. The place was the perfect spot to recover after some amazing hikes. Great amenities, wi fi, and a perfect mountain setting. I would highly recommend this place for an affordable vacation option!
Enjoyed the location with great Mountain views. Great dog friendly accommodations. Needs some TLC and updating. Overall was a good experience at lower price.
I truly loved my stay here for my 40th birthday relaxing weekend! My sister and 2 friends flew in for Chicago and we stayed Saturday afternoon to Monday morning. My husband and our two huskies came too. The cabin was adorable and in such an amazing location! It was quiet but still close to everything. Sadly it rained a ton while we were there but we did enjoy the games and theatre space to binge movies. I loved all the forestry features- like the tree beams inside. It was so unique! We did get to enjoy the patio briefly and that was by far my favorite space. It was massive and the views were incredible. Hopefully next time the weather is better for us. But we still truly enjoyed our stay! We didnât use the dog run but it was a great feature to have access to. We just are used to walking our dogs on leash. But it was a very dog friendly space!
Had a short getaway with our daughter and her boyfriend from Denver. We had 3 dogs who love to run and explore. They had a blast in the big adjoining dog run. House was clean and comfy. Lots of entertaining things in and around house for all. Easy access in and out of neighborhood and house. Beautiful views from deck. Kitchen well stocked for all our cooking needs. Robin was easy to communicate with.
