Unwind on the front porch with a throw blanket and your morning coffee and enjoy the ocean view. Enjoy dinner in the formal dining area or watch Netflix on the new living room furniture. Prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen.

The location on Bailey Island means a short walk to Cedar Beach, one of Maine's hidden gems. A small, lovely yard with gardens and a front porch promotes this property's connection with nature. The bedroom and full bathroom on the first level are ideal for anyone with mobility challenges. Additionally, the upstairs of the house has a living room/study perfect for kids/gaming with superfast internet speed. The house sleeps 6 comfortably.

Being centrally located on the Bailey Island makes for an easy walk to the general store or local restaurants, many within a mile. May we suggest Bailey Island General Store (BIGS), Sundrenched, Cook's Lobster & Ale House, Salt Cod Cafe or the Fishnet Cafe. Other choices we recommend within the town of Harpswell are Island Candy Co., Erica's, Uncle Pete's Market and Pammy's Ice cream (yum).

Check out our Harpswell Heritage hiking trails, the free Thursday night concert series at Mitchell Field, a sail on the Schooner alert, or take a day to outlet shop in Freeport. Make sure to include a stop at the famous LL Bean campus. You can't go wrong when you have a cottage by the sea to awaken each morning and rest your head each night after a day of adventure.

Towels and Linens are provided at the cottage; including 6 beach towels, 2 beach chairs and a wagon for that walk down the road to the beach.
