Cheery Residential Home (Kid & Pet Friendly!)
Enjoy a cozy stay at our Cheery Residential home, situated in a quiet neighborhood and located within easy walking distance from the golf course! Hop in the car and you’re only a 3-minute drive from the heart of historic downtown. Enjoy a variety of local shops, restaurants, and year-round events. The Geiser-Pollman Park and Leo Adler Path are also nearby and great for traveling with kiddos or dogs. This is a kid & pet-friendly home with a fenced backyard and other essentials you might need.
The home itself is 1,950 sq. ft. and has 3 beds and 2 baths. It’s a single level, open-concept space with an office that can be closed off for focus. The north bedrooms and main bathroom may also be closed off from the main living areas with a convenient pocket door.
The master bed and bath are located off of the kitchen and have their own door to the fenced backyard, containing an awning (but with no rails).
Next to the kitchen is a laundry and pantry area that leads out to the garage. The two-car garage is currently available for use. There is a converted unit available for rental in the third bay of the garage.
In front of and near the house is plenty of space for walking and riding bikes.
The neighborhood is a circuit off of Indiana Avenue and opposite the golf course. This unit has two dedicated parking spaces in the driveway and ample parking space. The third parking space in the driveway is reserved for an additional unit off of the garage. Indiana Ave tends to be quiet. Although, you may occasionally see a golf cart driving through.
I live in the neighborhood and am accessible throughout the day via the AirBNB message app. I work every morning until midday, so I can personally offer support in the afternoons. In the event of a house-based emergency, however, I do have a local handyman that I can call on.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood with no through traffic. It is within an easy walking distance to Quail Ridge Golf Course, which offers beautiful views of Baker Valley year-round. There are many trails, sidewalks and walkways for those who like to be out and about on foot.
During the wintry months, these normally wide and easy streets become more difficult to drive. The snow packs into icy roads, so drive slowly and carefully!
Winter aside, the streets are wide and offer ample parking.
The house has two driveway spaces dedicated to the unit. The third, furthest away from the front door, is dedicated to another rental unit in the third bay of the garage.
No more than 3 vehicles allowed. You have two parking spaces in the driveway and one in front of the house. Please be careful not to obstruct the mailbox or the third bay- we have guests in there too!
Please do not bring any camper trailers, RVs, or anything larger than a commercial vehicle into the neighborhood. Accommodations can be made with advance notice for snowmobile, jet ski, and ATV trailers.
Quiet time is expected from 10pm to 6am daily. You have the house, but share a wall with another unit and are located in a quiet, comfortable, largely retired neighborhood. The general idea is to never let me hear about you from any outside source. We love hosting guests, but we also love our neighbors!
No overnight guests and no parties on the property at any time.
No candles, open flame, fireworks, or fire pits. This extends to the street and sidewalk as well.
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. Early and late check in/out may be arranged based on availability if scheduled in advance. I like to have a general ETA from my guests to make sure I understand the window I have to prepare the space, particularly if there are any special considerations or accommodations to be made.
Please be respectful of our space and leave the property and furnishings in good condition.
