Great Hotel Great Value

Very nice and clean hotel. Shelly and all the staff are very helpful, nice and friendly. Started coming to Bakersfield for business. Definitely will be staying here while in town. I Definitely recommend it.

Bakersfield hidden gem!

I made a last minute booking. I arrived at the hotel and my room type was not available. The front desk clerk upgraded my room at no charge, which I greatly appreciated. The room is a little outdated, but it was clean and spacious. My room was on the ground floor and it has a little patio area with a seating area if you want to sit outside. This was the first hotel I stayed at that did not have a comforter on the bed. The heater worked great thank goodness. The attached restaurant is the crown jewel. Hot buffet breakfast is included with your stay. The restaurant also serves lunch/dinner menu to guests at a great price and the food is great!

They do not have blankets on the beds, only sheets. One was super thin in the closet. When I asked for two extra blanks, I was told they could only send one. They sent one up that was dirty. The towels were rough. The coffee pot did not have the right-sized glass, so it would not push the plunger in for the coffee to come out. After getting dressed to leave on Sunday morning, my socks were completely black on the bottom from walking in the room when we checked out. The only nice thing about our stay was that the staff was nice and the parking lot was gated.

Clean the pool especially since its almost summer!

The property charged me twice and never corrected the mistake. Be careful because the hotel has gone thru 3 owners in as many years. And they need to clean the pool. It was filthy

Wife booked a day late so arrived and paid full price which Hotels.com was working on getting us a credit...still no response, also would not recommend this Clarion hotel, very sketchy place, no blankets, my slider door was broken so remained open 6 inches thru the night, little uneasy given the cherectors we saw
