Cats are not allowed at the property.
Only dogs allowed at the property.
Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property.
Front garden with broken pots and weeds gave poor first impression. Cleaner not observant, hair clip on bedroom floor, dusty tv, dirty dishes in dish washer.
Considering house holds 7 there was a lack of toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, tea towels etc.
Non stick pans not useable. Lack of glasses and none suitable for a gin and tonic for instance.
I think the house has been expensively done but who ever looks after it doesn't do it justice.
Started well with the owner ringing in advance to give advice on finding the property and entry instructions and also to check if any questions - nice touch.
The house was beautifully kept and very well equipped. Everything, including the sink!!, in the kitchen that could possibly be required. A welcome pack of bread, wine and biscuits greeted us, along with coffee, tea, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc.
All bathrooms were equipped with shower gel, soap and lotions.
Very neat, tidy, clean and well kept house throughout.
The house is on the main road next to a garage but the noise wasn't an issue. As it was wet and horrible we didn't use the outside space at the back but this was hidden from the garage so I'm sure it would be fine.
The centre of Bakewell is only a 5 minute walk and cars were left untouched in the private parking spots. This was very handy - we stayed the weekend of the Christmas market and traffic was horrendous going through the town!
There is plenty to do within walking distance, so all in all, very, very good.
