Gorgeous home in Bale with WiFi

On the outskirts of the small medieval town of Bale, on the west coast of Istria, is this vacation home. The large fenced yard, shared with the landlord and the residents of another house, is located in the middle of a beautiful part of town. In the courtyard you will also find a restaurant where you can taste the regional cuisine. Since it can get a bit noisy, the landlord offers you a free dinner on these days as compensation. On the first floor of the house there is the kitchen and the living room while the bedrooms are on the second floor. The swimming pool of Olympic dimensions, surrounded by greenery, invites you to relax, it is shared with the other house on the property. The small town of Bale is located 20 km from Pula and 13 km from Rovinj. In this historical and important fortified town you will find many cultural treasures from the time when Istria was a Roman province. Do not miss a visit to the Roman amphitheater in Pula where concerts are held during the summer months.

Fantastic location with a great pool, however we were not able to use it for 2 days due to a wedding. We were made aware of the wedding a couple of days prior to arrival and were looking forward to witnessing the event, however this was not possible as we were unable to eat at the restaurant or use the pool on the first day due to the festivities.We were accepting of this as we didn't wish to disrupt their happy day, but when we were unable to use the pool the following day as the couple were hosting a pool party for 80 guests we began to feel both cheated and unwelcome. A feeling not helped when the bride confronted us in a rude and aggressive manner, questioning our right to be at the pool on the morning of the party as they thought they had exclusive access.We were offered a meal by way of compensation, and it was lovely, but couldn't make up for 2 days loss of facility use.The house itself was a great space but a little dated and lacking some amenities such as clothes storage, no drawers and not even a wardrobe in one bedroom, this was rectified with a clothes rail on day 2. No wifi for 2 days either, later fixed. Focus has been on the 2 newly built luxury villas, which are gorgeous.This has diverted attention from villa Kata, which I believe is their next project for renovation and could be amazing. I would be hesitant to return untill this happens and would advise checking wedding arrangements.Bale itself is a very pretty village with several good restaurants.

leider entsprach das Objekt nicht dem, welches im Inserat angeboten wurde. Es war eine Wohneinheit mit unmöglichem Zugang zu den Schlafräumen, die Küche befand sich ausserhalb, es war ständig Durchgangsverkehr durch andere Leute, fremde Leute benutzen unser WC usw.
