The cottage was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. It was really well situated for walking into the centre of Ballater.

Lovely and clean one bedroom cottage where the owners are very accommodating and friendly. All the amenities and accessories were available. We liked the fact that a small laundry machine was there. A few minor issues were: a clogged drain in the kitchen sink, a toilet flushing that needed to be tweaked a bit, and loud caws of a crow early in the morning... ;)

Lovely little cottage!

We stayed for 2 weeks in the Bothy, and it was perfect. The place is small, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is great for lots of outdoor activities, and an easy walk into town for shopping and restaurants.

Great place to explore from

We wanted self catering accommodation that was not isolated that we can just chill out if we want to and this fits the bill. It is an easy walk into Ballater for shops restaurants etc. very central to explore the local area and there are some great walks. The accommodation is clean and well presented and has everything you need and the owners were helpful and friendly but left you in peace. I would certainly stay again if in the area.
