Family weekend getaway

Our stay was overall very nice. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and the property was quiet. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The separate sitting area with second TV was very nice with kids in the room. The indoor pool was closed for renovations, which was unfortunate because that was the main reason we chose this location for our family getaway. Breakfast was disappointing, but we had a few items anyway. The waffle mix was empty, and the wrapped pats of butter had green mold. I mentioned the empty waffle mix to the front desk, and the kitchen staff did eventually refill the containers, but we were already finished eating and ready to head out for the day. Overall, we would stay here again, hoping for a better breakfast experience and the pool to be open.

Good stay except the pool was closed for work, but it looked fine and we never saw anyone working on it. It was, however, over a weekend so itay have just been that. Buffet breakfast was good. Beds were a little bouncy and firm, but good over all. I liked the way our king room was set up. Very unique. Regular king bed room, then a bathroom with shower and toilet inside a door on one side, and sink outside the door on the other. You would walk through that to the living room area. Gave our teenager his own space without a separate room. Staff was great.

My room was dirty. Mysterious stains and crud on the couch and carpet. The blow dryer was melted and didn’t work anymore. The shower whistles loudly the whole time is was running while the tub filled with water. The rags provided had hair on them. Not to mention the pool was down for “renovations” and that’s one of the main reasons I booked there. The location was the least convenient having to ride through the community to the back of a dangerous parking area for truckers. Took pictures and showed staff who said I would get my money back but I’m still waiting on my refund. Will never return to this hotel ever again.

It’s a value hotel. $99 with tax do you get what you pay for. Location was iffy. Good space in room, two good tvs. Digs was awful, cheap uncomfortable. Bed was just ok. Check in was nice. $150 incidental charge was a bit steep , refunded on 3rd day after charges. Breakfast uninspired (went to Another Broken Egg down the next exit.

How overall the property is good. I found it a little weird that you go through a neighborhood before you get to the hotel, but other than that everything was fine

Neighbors were terrible, petty, and loud. I asked them to stop being loud and they proceeded to be even louder throughout the night. They also smoked a lot and it made the hallway reek

I can say after staying at multiple hotels when I travel to Maryland, and having to deal with roaches and bad smells from the other hotels, THIS hotel is a complete breathe of fresh air. My husband and I truly enjoyed this hotel and it's amenities.
