Intolerable apartment

Apartment has the cheapest and most basic furniture and supplies. Awful bedding, no way to make ice, no dishwasher soap, no corkscrew. TV apps barely worked because of weak wifi. Very noisy outside - people walking and talking on sidewalk (at all hours of the night) sounded like they were inside the apartment. Also not clean: found old moldy food on living room floor and hairs on the bed. We chose to change our 10 days to 3, but were only refunded less than 1/2 of the 7 unused days. Host blamed it on VRBO, and VRBO blamed it on the host. In sum, it was my worst experience renting on VRBO and similar platforms.
