Room was lovely, very clean and accessible as it was on the ground floor. As it was Sunday, there wasn't a full menu on, but we were more than happy with the roast sirloin. All staff were excellent, especially the young barman who was polite, helpful and happy to chat.

All the above! Staff was great . Irina at front desk and everywhere else as well is fantastic at her profession. She was kind enough to alert us prior to our arrival that there was a possibility of a boisterous wedding party the night of our arrival and moved us to a different wing.

The room was a good size, clean, and well stocked with tea and coffee. However, I didn’t enjoy the evening meal. I ordered the lamb and it really wasn’t nice — I only ate the mash and left the rest. Service was also very slow; it took an hour for the food to arrive at 7pm, despite the restaurant being almost empty.

Nice hotel, bit more charm than your traditional chain. All staff notably helpful and friendly. Food was nice in the evening and breakfast (small continental buffet with cook to order hot food) was really good and attractive.

Hard to get hold of hotel to book in the first place had to book through hotels.com in the end once arrived on site staff were very helpful very friendly just shortstaffed.

Room beautiful but shower leaked all over floor. Soon dried though. One recommendation is to have a small table and socket on the side of the bed where radiator is. Room 9 is lovely though and the staff can’t do enough for you.

I paid for a superior room which I was told I had to pay on arrival, this was far from superior. Lighting not working, over hot room, very old mattress, no fridge and as the windows had to be open, there was a contestant hum from their cooling systems. Sad as the building looked lovely from their photos.

We loved the well kept hotel. The garden is manicured and gorgeous! We ate at the restaurant and the meal was tasty and nice. We also watched live sports at the pub. Staff was very attentive in both and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying at the hotel if you’re visiting the beautiful Cotswolds.
