Front desk made a bookkeeping mistake by not allocating discretionary fund which was provided by our traveling companion (separate room). We were almost denied entry to breakfast buffett.

The hotel only has two elevators, and one of them was out of service causing significant delays. Additionally, the doors in the stairwell are locked and only operable as exits from the floors, making it impossible to gain access to the floors using the stairwell.
