Nous avions reserve cet hotel pour feter mon anniversaire et je n ai pas ete decue! Jig, la responsable a la reception a tout fait pour que nous soyons satisfaits, donne une tres belle chambre spacieuse au 1er etage(pas d ascenseur) et a l arriere, au calme!....LQe cadre est merveilleux d atmosphere, on se croit 100 ans en arriere.....tout est de bon gout dans cette decoration extraordinaire au milieu de notre civilisation moderne agitee, cela fait un bien fou d arriver dans cet endroit ou l on se sent comme chez des amis a la campagne dans une belle grande demeure.....Nous avons dine aux chandelles au bord de la piscine, une belle experience, pour finir le Spa ou les masseuses sont extra! Nous retournerons

Hotel de charme, style colonial, super service

Excellente - Tout l'hôtel est décoré avec gout dans un style colonial très romantique. La lumière tamisée du lobby et du restaurant incitent à la consommation (très bonne cuisine!) - La piscine et le spa attenant (massage recommandés) à la relaxation. Le personnel est aux petits soins dans ce petit 'boutique hotel' de luxe. Seul bémol: Dur à trouver, et un peu éloigné... Mais une fois sur place, plus besoin de sortir ;-)

Maison de charme très rare à Bangkok

Hôtel situé dans une vieille bâtisse coloniale, un charme fou !!! Chambres un peu rustiques mais très confortables (au 3ème étage pour nous), avec très bonne literie, et belle salle de bain (baignoire en cuivre...). Piscine intérieure magnifique même si petite. Excellente restauration. Staff très professionnel et très agréable. Un petit défaut : hôtel relativement excentré et très mal connu des taxis !!! Mais une escale de charme absolument indispensable pour un week-end romantique... Très recommandé +++

Hotel is closing the end of March

The hotel is closing and the staff had an "I don't care" attitude. Same owner owns THE MUSE in Bangkok. There was definitely false advertising on breakfast menu stating breakfast choices come with free tier of fruit and coffee. We were charged $15.00 for each breakfast no matter what we ordered. Most of the wines listed on drinks menu were not available although some other very expensive wines were incidentally available, spa was closed and staff had no recommendations for spas near hotel. Also we asked about attractions in Bangkok and the staff had none. Terrible experience.

Great hotel

Hotel very nice with family atmosphere, people that work there are very friendly and nice. Hotel clean with great furniture, ethnic style. Gut Gut located, near center bar and shops. Thanks for the hospitality! :-)

Interesting setting poor customer service

We really enjoyed the hotel for it's period features and historical context. Room was clean however NAILS sticking out of the floor and I cut myself. Hotel amenities were adequate, although the pool was ice cold. So do not book if you want to use the pool. Hotel location was poor difficult to get around and felt unsafe walking around at night. Breakfast was good. The customer service was poor. Examples including unhelpful hotel reception staff (female member of staff) who just sat on her computer.

"Eugenius"

if you're looking for a quiet off the beaten path type boutique hotel - this is the place. we stayed in the eugenia suite room 202 - normally i would like a higher floor however this hotel has no lift so only one flight up was rather convenient. we only stayed for two nights and very much enjoyed the low-key relaxed vibe. friendly staff - no frills kinda of place but with all the charm in the world.

조금 불편하지만 진심으로 친절하고 예쁜 호텔

빈티지 스타일을 좋아하는 분이라면 소소한 것 하나하나 너무 예쁘고 로맨틱한 호텔입니다. 일하는 분들도 모두 친절하고 좋았지만 아무래도 정말 빈티지하다보니, 낡은 집 냄새가 나고 좀 습한 감이 없지 않았습니다. 다른 분 후기에도 배수가 잘 안된다고 하시는 걸 봤는데, 제가 묵었던 방도 배수가 느렸고, 전신 거울과 화장대가 없다는 것도 조금 불편했습니다. 위치도 꽤 골목이라 처음 찾아갈 때 택시 기사분이 좀 헤맸습니다. 하지만 정말 아기자기 예쁜 호텔입니다 :-)

Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff

This hotel is beautiful, service is more then fantastic.. one of the best I've been to. Very friendly and helpsul staff. Rooms are furnished with antique furniture, very nicely arranged.. Amazing food as well.. All beyond expectations.. hotel management also extremely helpful in every possible way.. Can't wait to go back :)

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in

This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. I think we liked it more than another resort that we paid over 3x the price in Thailand the same trip. We were very close to staying at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok and decided to go with this instead and very glad we did. We went to the Mandarin for lunch one day and it definitely looked very nice but not as intimate or unique as the Eugenia. Ming, concierge, was very helpful. The only negatives were that the vintage cars weren't available to take out because the driver wasn't available and the location isn't great if you want to do a ton of touristy stuff. It is howevever a very seemingly upscale and safe location with plenty to do (just no temples, etc.)

A great disappointment

My wife and I stayed in the Eugenia for 1 night. We liked the room and enjoyed the old world stay for the most part; however, the front desk staff completely forgot about our spa reservation and provided very poor service to deal with the situation. We made reservation for spa when we checked in at the hotel, we again confirmed with the front desk staff on our spa reservation the next morning. However, when we returned to the hotel for the spa, we found ourselves in a wedding at the hotel and the spa was closed due to the wedding. The front desk staff told us there was another spa like the one at the hotel nearby, but we were to assume the expense of the taxi to the spa. When we got to the spa nearby, the services were not the same as the spa that we planned on getting at the Eugenia. Twice we confirmed with the front desk staff about our spa reservation, and nobody told us about the wedding and the spa being closed for the evening. We believed that the wedding was reserved months ahead of time, and we could NOT believe that the front desk staff did NOT inform us about it. Exacerbating the situation, the hotel staff denied the mistake and said it was because they couldn’t reach us during the day and the hotel did not even arrange the transportation to the other spa. Again, we wanted to make it clear to the management that we double-checked with the front desk about the spa reservation just a few hours before the wedding, but the hotel staff blamed us for the mistake.

3 great night at Eugenia

Location is a bit far away from the Phrom Phong or Asok BTS station, but Eugenia provided free tuk tuk service between Phrom Phong or Asok station and Hotel. Room is nice and comfortable, just like my home. Service is sweet and thoughtful, and thank you for helping me prepare the birthday cake for my boyfriend. Nice trip in Bangkok, Nice experience in Eugenia :)

Unique hotel with lots of charm

This hotel is very interesting as it is furnished with antiques collected from around the world. It has an old worldly charm which is a unique find in a big busy city such as Bangkok. The staff made us feel very welcome and although the hotel is not designed for families as such, they made every effort to accomodate our 2 small children.
