The Outside Inn at The Lodges at Eagles Nest! This stunning home is perched at nearly 5,000 ft. of elevation on a very secluded 5+ acre homesite and looks out on to 180 degree panoramic mountain views, featuring sunrises over Grandfather Mountain and sunsets over Roan Mountain. The Outside Inn is the embodiment of sophisticated architecture paired with refined interior design. Put simply, this entire property is a pure work of art unto itself. The owners spent nearly a year carefully selecting the land, which offered the exact combination of views, elevation, privacy and space they wanted. They then engaged with multiple architects to painstakingly create a home design that was both extraordinary looking from the outside, yet functional and comfortable on the inside.

The reclaimed wood and stone materials were selected to reflect a seamless blend of authentic Appalachian construction, while the simple, clean lines of the interiors sublimely give way to an abundance of windows looking out to the exquisite vistas. The landscape design, weaving in and out through boulders as old as time itself, was crafted to cultivate an eternal and enduring sense of having always been there. The net result is a refreshing sensation of being immersed in the hearty mountain textures and stirring landscape the home offers from nearly every inch of the indoor and outdoor living space. The Outside Inn at The Lodges at Eagles Nest is located just minutes from the charming town of Banner Elk. Featuring a wide variety of noted gourmet restaurants and excellent specialty and upscale boutiques, Banner Elk is a destination all its own. Here each season brings with it something spectacular, from our cool air and outdoor activities in the summer, to our incredible fall foliage, to great skiing during the winter. Banner Elk is also home to Lees-McRae College and its wonderful summer theater program, as well as numerous athletic events for spectators throughout the year.

In the summertime, enjoy a nice hike right from your doorstep! The winding trails can be hiked, fun for everyone! Beech Mountain is a short drive away using the back gate of Eagles Nest.

HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Please note that this home is equipped with many valuable and breakable items. The home is not child-proofed.
- Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
-Guest do not have use of the Green Egg Grill at the property.
- We request guests do not use the large doors in the living room. To go in and out of the home onto the back porch, please use door next to kitchen.
- This home has exterior security cameras. There are two cameras up front by the entrances of each door. One is above the garage and the other is above the deck pointed toward the mountains.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
