Absolutely LOVED this apartment. Everything was seamless from the moment we checked in until we left. My 78-year old mom traveled with us. She loved having her own space with plenty of room. She also loved how wide the staircase was with a landing which made it easy for her to come and go on her own. The apartment looks exactly as the photos depict - fresh, new and a great vibe. The kitchen is perfectly appointed although there is no dishwasher which was not an issue for us as we ate all dinners out in downtown Ellsworth. We were super happy being in Ellsworth as it was calming after a jam packed day in Acadia or dealing with crowds in Bar Harbor. Make certain to visit the stores especially Linda and Hans store Toko!
My husband I spent 6 nights in Ellsworth to celebrate our 26 anniversary! This property was in walking distance of great restaurants like Riverside Cafe and the Lobster Pot and shopping. We spent a few days in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. A day seeing the Schoodic Peninsula and a day in Bass Harbor. The apartment was clean, had wonderful AC comfortable beds, seating and we even washed our clothes before heading to Boston.
This property was wonderful for our familyâs trip to Maine. I have no complaints to report, but I do have a couple of suggestions for those traveling and staying here, especially if traveling with kids. The buildings in Maine are all old and this one is no exception. The floors creak and the doors squeak very loudly. My kids are all light sleepers (ages 5,3, and 3 months) so the doors squeaking made them toss and turn a bit and the bathroom door squeaking in the middle of the night felt like it would wake the entire neighborhood. Also, there is no filtered water on site, so you may want to stop and grab a bit before arriving. The owner provided several bottles in the fridge and that saved us from having to go out late to grab some when we arrived. Lastly, the parking is not super convenient. Itâs in the back of the building and youâve got to walk around to the store front. It isnât a long walk, but for arriving with luggage youâll want to park in the front and unload when possible.
The water pressure is a dream, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful, and the owners are communicative. What else could you ask for?
We recently had the pleasure of staying in this stunning 3-bedroom apartment right in the heart of Downtown Ellsworth, which emanated a sense of care and thought that was obvious in every detail of this spacious, luxurious home.
The apartment's prime location was unbeatable. Nestled in the center of Ellsworth, everything you could needâwhether it be the charming coffee shops, boutique stores, or delicious restaurantsâis within walking distance. Itâs the perfect spot for those who love the convenience of being in the middle of it all while still enjoying a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Plus, the location offers the added benefit of being only a half-hour drive to the lively town of Bar Harbor and the stunning Acadia National Park. Whether you're in the mood for a nature-filled adventure or a day exploring the local culture, this apartment is the ideal home base.
With this perfect combination of convenience and proximity to some of Maineâs most beautiful attractions, we couldnât have asked for a better place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Ellsworth is totally worth checking out for anyone staying in the Acadia area. It had enough going on to be fun/hopping but quiet enough to get away from the tourist traffic of Acadia too. This apartment worked great for our family of 6, and was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We love checking out National and State Parks, but are appreciating quieter/smaller nearby towns more and more in order to also get a break from all the crowds. We usually stay in homes but this was a nice change of pace - easy parking, easy shopping and restaurants right out our front door, and yet quiet and peaceful for a 'downtown' setting too. Highly Recommend!
We stayed 5 nights and had a hard time leaving. This lovely apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our needs, right in the heart of town, with parking allotted, and close to Acadia, where we spent every day. You canât go wrong here!
This 3 bedroom apartment is incredible. Itâs right on Main Street in Ellsworth, cool shops and restaurants within walking distance. Itâs about 1/2 hr to Acadia and Bar Harbor, great to get away from the congestion down there at the end of the day and chill at an awesome air conditioned apartment!
This was a perfect place for us to stay! The apartment was so roomy, clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. We spent our days hiking in Acadia and our evenings out to eat and relaxing at the apartment. We loved the town of Ellsworth and the great food and beverages jt had to offer. We couldnât have had a better trip! Thank you!
We stayed 5 nights while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park most days. Highly recommend, just wish there was more than 1 bathroom. Great amenities and location.
The apartment is extremely clean and nicely decorated. It has a very nice kitchen and living area. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Once again, an exceptionally pleasant stay from Linda & Hans!
The 3 bedroom was perfect! Roomy, clean, comfortable and easy to keep with a full kitchen to prepare quick meals. And especially allergy free for me!
My husband was able to work remotely for a couple days and enjoyed dashing out for a great burrito across the street (86 This). Our son enjoyed the back bedroom with a desk for evening gaming with friends.
Convenient to family that live and work in Ellsworth (Atlantic Art Glass). Living on Main Street was a pleasure and convenient to meeting family for dinner at the pubs...So many great shops and eateries like Flexit Cafe, Finn's & Toko. Communication was easy and a pleasure. Looking forward to another stay.
Thank you so merry much Hans and Linda!
The location of this property is AMAZING. It is centrally located in Ellsworth with easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, etc. The space is super clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Parking is easy and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Linda and Hans are amazing hosts and quick to answer all of our questions. All around great stay!
The property was very nice. It's new and much larger than it appears in photos. We had issues with the lock, and the Pm was easy to get a hold of and fixed the issue right way. My only complaint would be that they listed laundry as an amenity, but the details were that there is a laundromat close by. That's not an amenity. This was one of our considerations for booking because it was a longer trip.
The location was great. Only 30 minutes to Acadia and Bar
Harbor. We loved the little extra things like water bottles, toilet paper, coffee, etc. The notes the owners wrote helped us decide where to eat and visit. We definitely would stay there again.
