The location of the Cromwell Harbor Hotel was perfect for walking into Bar Harbor or driving to the Loop Road for hikes and sights. We found the room to be very comfortable and convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! We spent 3 days hiking in Acadia and an afternoon exploring downtown Bar Harbor. It’s roughly 14 minutes to walk to the town green ( parking is difficult and $$ downtown) but a very easy walk. We enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Thst Way and Jeanine’s Maine Breakfast, both good. Our room was spacious, TV worked great, ceiling fan and leaving the windows open all day worked great for our unseasonably warm end of September stay. The owner was very helpful with local suggestions and making it easy for our late check in! We would definitely stay again!

Clean, new feeling to the Cromwell. Very comfortable and large room with lots of amenities. Close enough to walk to stores and restaurants, yet set in pretty forested landscape.
