Strawberry Villa is a large, custom, beautifully appointed home perfect for family and group gatherings.

Located on Strawberry Hill above the village of Bar Harbor and within walking distance (about a mile) of the village center, this villa has landscaped and tended grounds, with extensive lawn areas for family sports and activities overlooked by a large deck for entertaining and relaxation of the beautiful surroundings with your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

Totally private, very quiet, a true retreat from the hustle-and-bustle of downtown but close to the action and the waterfront (walk or bike to Cromwell Harbor) The main floor is open-concept, with spectacular cathedral ceilings and elegant furnishings including a large sectional, a large, fully-equipped, (pots, pans, drip coffee maker, dishes, utensils) eat-in, gourmet kitchen and adjoining dining area that can seat 12, two bedrooms (one with ensuite bath), and lots of windows and access to the huge rear deck areas and the grill.

One bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed.

After an exhilarating day of hiking in the park, relax those sore muscles in the large sauna located off the entertainment area on the lower floor.

There is a Large-screen TV with streaming functions, (be sure to bring your password!) and entertainment equipment in the great room, ceiling fans and beautiful decorative (no guest use) stone fireplace. There is a half bath and also a private office off the kitchen. The extensive second floor has four bedrooms, including a huge Main BR with large, updated en suite bath (double-vanity, separate glass shower and large jetted tub) AND FIREPLACE -- such luxury! and portable AC unit. Two other bedrooms also have portable ac units.

The Lower floor is a huge finished space with 1/2 bath and lots of game equipment (foosball, air hockey, ping-pong, etc), large sauna, and entertainment center, a great place for kids to escape the adults or for all kinds of family fun and enough to keep you occupied on even the rainiest of days. It is a gaming heaven!

The grounds are nicely-landscaped and the lawns ready for family activities, including a basketball court, etc, surrounded by mature woodlands.
