All hotel staff were very nice. They have information for tourist in reception area. Parking is nearby which can be validated with the hotel itself. Pool/lounge area is big. Overall, a very good stay.

Great location!

Pros: Hotel staff, chocolate and shower
Cons: the elevators need to be faster and stop at floors faster. The mattresses need to fluffier and beds to be queen beds not twin. Twins are small.
Location: Prime location for Gothic Quarter. You can get to placa Catalonia within 4 minutes which is the hub of the city for metro and buses.
It was a great location for the hotel, however make sure to ask or check the room before moving in if you care about noise level. Our first room was noisy because it overlooked the restaurant below. We requested to change rooms the next day which hotel stuff showed us different rooms to see which one was more quite and better for our needs. That was done free of charge. The deliver chocolate candy every day at 8pm that was great. Coming from america we are used to more comfortable mattresses and the mattress in hotel beds were more wooden then anything. Maybe it was the style or something else. Expect discomfort there. You are allowed to use the minibar fridge for your own needs and water bottles are free. The hotel staff spoke English and few other languages that was a great plus. The $20 breakfast per person was so-so, so we usually ate elsewhere or bought components in the market and made our own breakfast. We didn't try the bar. The elevators are new but take forever to actually stop at any floor. The hotel does not have a gym but you can go to its sister hotel for gym nearby for free. We were to exhausted to do that after all incursions. Great hotel staff and location.

The Catalonia Catedral Hotel is fantastic!

My family and I stayed at the Catalonia Catedral Hotel in Barcelona and we loved it! This hotel is excellent in every way. The facilities are great, the rooms are amazing, and the location is excellent - the hotel is right in the Gothic district of Barcelona and so many amazing sights and restaurants are within easy walking distance. All of the staff that we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. All of us agreed that we would stay here again for sure!
