SHORT INTRODUCTION
Set in an architectural prize-winning building, this modern Barcelona apartment beauty has impressive detail throughout. Ceiling-to-floor sloped windows, wood floor new and other soft designer textures accentuate this spectacular space. It is cozy and welcoming but with a very hip, urban edge.

Design enthusiasts and those looking for that modern Barcelona feel will love the apartment. However, high-comfort and proximity to the Sagrada Familia suits all tastes.

NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOCATION

The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighbourhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away. Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and it's full of shops, bars and restaurants.

In just a short stroll through these beautiful streets you will arrive right at the centre, the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Ramblas boulevard, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions. Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line).

LIVING AREA

In the bright and spacious open lounge there is 1 sleeper sofa, a giant floor lamp, a modern cabinet, an audio-visual station and lots of light from its huge sunny windows. A dining suite consists of a table and seating for 5.

BED AND BATHROOM

The master bedroom has 1 designer queen size bed, night-tables, lamps and closet space. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and lots of natural light. In the lounge, the sofa is converted into 1 individual bed.
The complete bathroom has a shower and WC.

KITCHEN

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the cool kitchen is also equipped with: Refrigerator, freezer, microwave, hob stove and oven, toaster, blender, juicer, kettle and coffee machine. The bar counter with barstools overlooks an special inner patio at and is an extra space to dine and socialize.

This apartment also includes:

Hot/cold air conditioning in all the rooms, hairdryer, washing machine, ironing equipment TV/DVD/CD, double glazing, modern security system with interphone, bed linens and towels are provided, babycot and baby chair available.

Wonderful spot for exploring Barcelona

JosĂš was a fantastic host. Met us on the street when we arrived to walk us into the building. Explained all of the appliances and gave us a detailed description of how to get around Barcelona from this location and recommended nearby places to eat (fantastic!). He is extremely nice and communication was very clear before, during, and after the trip. The apartment was great for the 3 of us. Relatively small (by American midwestern standards) but typical for being in the middle of Barcelona. Very clean, the small kitchen was well furnished, and lots of sunshine in the main areas. Very quiet in the evenings. Amazing restaurants a block away, and subway stations a 5 min walk. Grocery, fruit stands, and pharmacies even closer than that. Overall, a great location. Felt like we were living in Barcelona, not just staying as tourists.

Perfect location

Our family of three (including a 17-year-old) had a wonderful time at this property. It was exactly as advertised with everything you need to be comfortable. The location is amazing and allows you to walk everywhere if you want to or hop on public transportation easily. It is quiet and in a great neighborhood, so you do not have a "touristy" feel. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive to questions ahead of time (We had no problems with the property while there, but I am sure he would have been equally responsive then!). Highly recommend.

Basic spacious apartment - needs updates

The host was great with communication and check in. Met us at late arrival and gave us maps. Apartment was spacious & clean. Many restaurants in the neighborhood but if you are gluten free you will have trouble finding a good meal - mostly pasta/pizza/burgers. There’s a supermarket across the street but has almost nothing, but a very nice fruit store around the corner. A big market store a few blocks away. Apartment is next to a school so very noisy around 5-6 pm. We were never home during day. TAXIs super easy to get here, one street over. There is a clothes washer and a drying rack which is nice. Some issues with apartment need updates 1) the lock on the door does not fit well between the door and the door frame. First day we came back we had to call the host because we couldn’t get in. Turns out you just have to pull and wiggle the door until it is in alignment. Very frustrating to spend 3-4 minutes every time we come back to get the door open. This really should be replaced and work perfect every time. Or better yet do away with physical key 2) towels are very old, thin, & rough. 3) Same with bed linens - old, thin, not soft. I travel with a small blanket I use for the plane since planes are cold. I ended up using that the entire stay as it was better than what was provided. For the price charged, I think decent towels and linens should be provided. A VRBO should be a comfortable place to stay. Finishing touches definitely missing from this apt.

Property was clean and had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the washer after a week of traveling. The location was ideal walking distance to lots of sites (only needed a cab to the airport). Our host even gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants. We hit the bakery next door for fresh bread every morning.

This is a wonderful property. The pictures show an accurate description. The apt is very clean and centrally located. Perfectly located apartment - with really helpful owner

The property is really well located 10-15 minutes stroll from arc de triomphe and the edge of the old town in one direction and 10-15 minute stroll from Sagrada Familia in another. There are loads of good restaurants nearby and great shopping on Passeig De Garcia only 10 minutes walk away. There is a small bakery for breakfast and a supermarket within 2 minutes from the front door - perfect! The owner Jose was excellent, meeting us at the apartment, making sure we knew how things worked and settling us in with advice on nearby restaurants. He even booked us a taxi to the airport on our last day! The apartment has everything you need - very clean with loads of thoughtful touches - even umbrellas in case it rains! We will definitely be back!

Great place in Barcelona for a family of 4!

I stayed here with my husband and two girls - 7 and 4. It was very clean and safe and had great space for all of us. There was a small playground right outside that was perfect for my 4 year old. There were very good restaurants and grocery places close by. The host was extremely helpful.

Great Barcelona Location

We really enjoyed our time here. We walked to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, Boqueria. It is super close to the metro lines if you need to go further which we used for going to Barceloneta, Park Guell, and Montserrat. Felt safe walking back from dinner from restaurants that didn’t even open until 8PM😊

Best location and host!

Jose was a great host! After booking we actually had a slight change of plans and Jose was extremely accommodating. He also met us at check in and walked us through the apartment and amenities and also shared several recommendations in the neighborhood (all of which were great!). The apartment itself is located in a great neighborhood, walking distance from everything, with a number of great restaurants and cafe's within a 2 minute walk. Neighborhood was super safe, even when walking late at night. Felt less touristy as well which was preferred for us. The apartment had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the space was enough for the both of us! We would 100% stay here again.

Great spot in heart of city

This is a great apartment ideal for 3 or 4 people. Super clean and well equipped with all essentials. A great location to explore all the neighborhoods. Sunny Bright Cozy Apartment

The apartment was perfect for our visit to Barcelona. It's centrally located in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery items. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the shower was perfect and there were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. Jose was a great host, met us upon our arrival and provided valuable information along with a map of places nearby! Highly recommend.

Lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jose’s place. He’s always quick in responding to all communication. He met us at the apartment & made us very welcome. He also give suggestion for places to eat. The apartment is roomy & has everything we need. Location wise it’s also pretty convenient. 7-10 mins to a couple metro station. A couple coffee shops & grocery right around the corner. This apartment was perfect for our stay in Barcelona- it was centrally located so we could get around the city easily, it was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and in a great neighbourhood with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Jose was very helpful and accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with him.

Great Host, Great location

We had a wonderful stay. The location is very convenient. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is very quiet. Nice quiet family neighborhood within walking distance of most sites. Jose is more than accommodating. We had travel difficulties getting to Barcelona, arriving around 11:00 pm instead of 3:00 pm. Jose met us on the sidewalk as we got out of the cab and showed us the apartment and gave us map and directions for getting around. There is a washing machine and drying rack, which came in very handy as we had already been traveling a week and needed to do some laundry. I highly recommend this apartment.
