This holiday home above the Potinière beach offers a top location and a fantastic view of the sea. The large garden property is on a hill above the picturesque stretch of coast in a quiet residential area. The furnishings, including a spacious living area with a corner fireplace, are comfortable and suitable for holidays, but the big plus is the wonderful, unobstructed sea view from almost every room in the holiday home. The popular long-distance hiking trail GR 233 passes below the property and offers you direct access to the white sandy beach in front of it. Barneville-Carteret is a charming, seaside resort with two harbors and three superb beaches, all awarded the Blue Flag for their water quality and environmental management. Due to the influence of the Gulf Stream, the water is slightly warmer here. White-blue bathing cabins complete the picturesque atmosphere of the seaside resort, which was already popular at the turn of the last century, as numerous Art Nouveau holiday villas still bear witness to today. Nearby activities : At the colourful weekly market in Barneville, you can buy excellent local produce. The Cotentin peninsula has a lot to offer besides the beautiful Norman landscape. Visit the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg (Oceanographic Museum), the small village of Barfleur, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, the port town of Granville or take a day trip to the famous monastery mountain of Mont St Michel.
