It's owned by Diesel and Crème, a retro-Biker and other stop on Route 62, ostensibly modelled after America's Route 66.
Only three bedrooms, one en-suite, a sitting room and a place to do your tea / coffee / microwave. Very old, deliberately, the furnishings and fittings. After dark, Barrydale's R62, closes down quite quickly.... the next place going east, 150 km, is Ladismith. You eat at a restaurant in 'town'.... they are good too.
In contrast, the bedrooms are excellent, clean and actually upmarket. Good air-conditioning, hot blanket, quality bed linen.... and huge modern bathroom.
Excellent, really fast Wi-Fi, No TV, No radio.
There's no doubt I would stay there again.
