FLOATING HOUSES are “floating vacation homes” that beautifully combine the amenities of a comfortable vacation home with the unique vacation experience of being on a boat on the water. Enjoy the special maritime atmosphere in the spacious, light-filled living room. Watch the play of light on the water or relax in a lounge chair on the balcony. Just by looking out the window, you’re right in the midst of nature: fish leap, waterfowl circle right in front of the terrace, and in the spring and fall, you can spot cranes. The town offers recreational activities for every taste: bike rentals, a mini-golf course,
boat tours, and much more.

The FLOATING HOUSES are modernly furnished and feature two decks:
The lower level (approx. 35 sqm)
The first deck features a spacious living room with a dining area and kitchenette. The living room is furnished in a modern, nautical style with a sofa and a rocking chair with a matching ottoman. The dining table seats up to 6 people, and a high chair is available free of charge. The living room opens onto a terrace, where 4 garden chairs and a table are provided for your use.
The upper level (approx. 40 sqm)
On the second deck, you’ll find 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 room with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. This room can also be used as a reading room or playroom. From two of the rooms on the upper floor, you can step directly onto the balcony, where you’ll find two lounge chairs and a wonderful view of the Bodden.

Living and Dining:

Kitchen:
– Electric stove with 4 burners or glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, and broiler

– 1 bedroom with a double bed
– 1 bedroom with 2 single beds or a double bed
– 1 combined room with a sofa bed for 2 people
Please bring your own bed linens and towels or book them for an additional fee.

The bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains.

Bathroom:
– Shower, toilet
– Bathroom cabinet, hair dryer, cosmetic mirror


General:
– Colour TV with satellite connection
– CD stereo system with radio
– Modern electric heating in every room
– 1 parking space on the harbour grounds
– Yacht & fishing shop on the grounds
– Bike rental in town

Outdoor area:
– Terrace and balcony
– Table with 4 garden chairs, 2 lounge chairs

– Small shed on the dock with storage space, e.g., for bicycles
– Handcart for transporting luggage on the property
– You can dock an open sport boat directly at the FLOATING HOUSE
(max. 7 m length, 1 m draft)

You may bring a pet to this FLOATING HOUSE. All dangerous dog breeds are excluded. Please understand that we can only accept pets that are clean and well-behaved. A pet surcharge applies according to the price list.

Utility costs (electricity, sewer/water, heating) are billed based on your personal usage (= metre readings) and deducted from the security deposit after departure.

The stationary houseboats are an ideal home for anyone who loves the special atmosphere on the water… yet still wants to stay on land.

Note: Additional costs apply:
- Security deposit: €200 (must be paid in cash on site)
- Electricity: €0.40 / kWh
- Water: €9.20 / ccm
- Tourist tax: €1.70 per person per day (up to 31.12.2025) or €2.50 per person per day (from 01.01.2026)

Note on the visitor’s tax: Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
This also applies to guests with severe disabilities (GdB 80 or higher).
Starting in 2026, overnight guests with a valid guest card can use bus line 210 (Barth – Zingst – Prerow – Zingst – Barth) free of charge.

Additional services that can be booked:
- Crib: €15 per booking (please reserve in advance)
- High chair: free (upon request)
- Please bring your own bed linens and towels
- Optional linen package: Bed linens and towel set €19 per person and per change
