Lovely hotel
The bed especially the pillows are comfortable. The heating in the room is of the right temperature. Card key security on the lift would be useful.

Terrible building design - very noisy rooms
Awful nights sleep - rooms not fit for purpose of sleeping! First room was next to lift shaft so banging and screeching from that. I asked to move. Second room noise I assume from ventilation system outside of room idling then kicking in very loud. I have emergency earplugs for such things but even they didn’t help. Staff were great and turned a/c off outside room. Better until something else started at 5am. No option to move room as hotel over booked. Avoid second floor apparently most noise complaints from here and only use it when other floors full. Not fit for purpose. Staff were great and did what they could. Awaiting call from manager but nothing as yet.

It was a very great hotel the staff care and are welcoming the food is okay can be cold which isn’t pleasant and can miss some items but the reception staff are amazing and resourceful. Personally there is an issue with disabled bay parking as people park without a badge making it extremely stressful and hard to find a blue badge holder bay other than this the staff are great

Friendly, clean, swim & six nations stop over.
Friendly, welcoming staff and easy check in. Car parking free. Six nations on large screens in bar with friendly, helpful staff. Pool warm (touch too warm to train in but good for a swim) clean steam room and sauna. Roomy jacuzzi. Large clean changing rooms with free lockers and towels. Booked a table for evening meal and relaxed in armchairs afterwards. Room well presented, decorated. Good breakfast. Recommend and will definitely stay in a Village Hotel again.
