GREAT stay

The room and surrounding facilities were clean with a rustic feel. Safe spot, right by the beach. Absolutely great staff, very friendly and helpful. The included apple fritter and coffee in the morning was a sweet and welcome perk. Would 100% stay again.

Mikaela on the front desk and restaurant were excellent Gas station attendants were awesome. We listened to them assisting every customer and guided them on their travels . Who does that anymore? We are already booked for our return trip!

We arrived and checked in without any problems. Arrived in our room and the floors were gritty/dirty, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and someone else’s mostly used bar of soap in the shower. There were no dishcloths, tea towels or paper towels . There was also no extra bedding for the pull out futon. Both those issues were remedied quick enough however should not have been forgotten in the first place considering the room has a kitchen and pull out bed. The take-out has less and less options as the years go on. At night all of the outdoor lights are shut off and the lights on the outside of the rooms don’t appear to work so if taking your dog out for a walk- bring your own light source. We were told there are new owners this season so hopefully they are assessing what needs to be done and updating the rooms in the offseason. (The bathroom floors are a bit squishy and some minor fixes need to be made) We have been coming here for 5 years and it does seem to be showing the wear and tear.

rooms can use an update but they are very clean, and the staff are very friendly and they will do whatever to make you happy. The Apple Fritters are huge and very good. You get 1 free after a nights stay.

This was a great place to stop and stay overnight while on our way home from Thunder Bay . It was busy during day with tourists but quiet and peaceful at night. Everything on site - gas station, restaurant, store, LCBO. Great apple fritters!!
