The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and the staff came back at a time requested for our room to be serviced. The evening meal was lovely and the cocktails made by the barman were excellent. We had 2 pets with us and the room had 2 pet beds set up in our room on arrival which was lovely.

Room was an upgrade apparently But had 4 flights of stairs to get too In a separate annex was informed but only for fit people with no heavy bags Bar was quiet breakfast staff were busy but they did there best credit to them

Great location! Hotel is walking distance to pretty much everything in the city. Initial rooms we checked in was very noisy and we quickly got moved to different room, which we appreciated. We were happy with the room and service we received. Hotel is pet friendly and we paid £35 for a pet however we had nothing provided, no pet bowls or treats. The pet bed provided to us stayed in the initial room. When hotel claims to be pet friendly and charges you a fee you’d expect more.

Room was lovely but was over £1300 for 2 nights so you expect it to be, Coffee and Tea facilities could be better, no labels to tell you which coffee pod was which for the machine so opted for a normal coffee only to find there was no normal coffee, only caffiene free. Shower blocked 1st use, had to lay around 8 towels to soak up the flood in the bathroom, informed reception straight away at 9.50am , came back to relax at 3.30pm and make use of the gorgeous bath only to find no-one had been in to replace towels or clean up , very annoyed as this meant we couldnt make use of the bath at all as we were waiting for this to be sorted. Only other issue is breakfast takes far too long, booked in at 10am , had to wait until 10.25 and still nothing , Had to cancel our breakfast due to train time. So overall, not really the best service condiering the price paid.
