Coastal Bungalow Close to ICW & Beach

Bring your boat, your fishing gear or a kayak to this Sargent canal front get away, with easy access by boat to East Matagorda Bay and Gulf of Mexico fishing. You will find yourself relaxing on the deck listening to the Gulf, fishing and crabbing off your private pier, or taking a kayak down the canal. Enjoy the nice cross breeze in shade underneath.

This recently remodeled bungalow offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath! The large Primary bedroom has a king size bed, one secondary bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed. Smart TV's are in the living room and primary bedroom, where you can log into your own apps. The bathroom provides a large walk in tile shower. The home comfortably sleeps 6-8 guest.

Outside, you'll love the brand new fishing pier with covered area and fish cleaning station. There are underwater fishing lights for night time fishing and a crab trap to catch some crabs! There's even a large ice machine for guests to keep the days' catch fresh.

Take a walk or drive down our beautiful beach and witness the gorgeous sunset and rises Sargent has to offer!

Great Canal Home

Home was fully renovated as stated in the listing, air condition was great as it was a HOT week and the house was able to stay nice and comfortable throughout our entire stay. The property basically had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Loved the access to the canal, BBQ pellet smoker and all the kitchen utensils, pots & pans. I would definitely recommend this place and would consider staying again in the Future. Additional Bonus was the ability to bring my pup along for the vacation, there aren't many places that allow dogs so this was a great added benefit!

Perfect for a cozy getaway

Super clean, had everything a family needs to be comfortable while away from home. Can’t beat the view from the deck with a hot cup of coffee. Kids caught fish off dock. Locals are friendly too! Phones had reception the entire stay.

Winter Break Fishing Trip

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at this bay house. The house was very clean, the beds were really comfortable and the home had everything that was advertised. The only complaint we had was that the couches were pretty but not very comfortable to sit on. Our 7 year old granddaughter had a bunk room to herself and loved every minute of it. We didn’t have much luck fishing off the dock. We also used the crab trap off the dock. We caught the same little crab and then finally caught a nice one.

Great cabin for family

The property was clean and the location was great for our annual fishing trip. Everybody slept great on the comfy, clean beds. It had DirectTV so the kiddo wasn't bored out of her mind. Pleasant experience.

Great house for us and our baby

My review is based on a stay with a baby. We stayed here while we were in town for a high school graduation. This house worked out well for us and our infant. The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the other rooms so my husband and I didn't have to worry too much about waking our baby girl. The host even accommodated us with a pack n play so she had a safe place to sleep. For bathing there is only a standing shower, but the kitchen sink is big enough to bathe a baby. Cell service is limited in for us the area (T-Mobile) and there's no wifi so that is something to consider, but we would get service as soon as we got back on the main road. It was nice to "unplug" for a bit too. We would certainly book this or one of Kandas' other properties in the future!

Good time

Location was good, quiet neighborhood, easy communication and entry into the house. The canal is shallow but our 22 ft bayboat had no issues, tide was low in the early spring. Boat ramp just around the corner with a bait shop. The only negatives I had with this house is there were no closets to hang clothes in.

Amazing stay

Just stayed for one night and didn’t want to leave. House is so comfortable and everything you could possibly need. Kids caught lots of fish from the pier. Can not wait to come back again soon.

Best Decision!
