Tanner Bldg Apt 4 - 1 bedroom (Downtown)

Summary:
Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything.

All communication will be through the booking channel (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, MisterBandB). Access to apps or email is needed for all notifications and communication.

The Space:
One bedroom walk up apartment with a full kitchen. This apartment is on the second floor.

Guest Access:
You will have access to your own studio apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of downtown, you are steps away from shops, eateries, and a conference center. The area is known for being safe and easily walkable. Wenonah Park and Bay City's river walk is less than a block away where many Downtown events take place, including seasonal and major concerts, Riverside Art Festival, Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival, Bay City Fireworks Festival and so much more. We're also near the Bay City Downtown "Feet On The Street" block closures in the summertime, where there is extra seating, free wellness classes, shopping, music and more.

Getting Around:
Park your car and enjoy your river walk from Downtown to Uptown. Many historic neighborhoods East of Downtown provide walking tour.

Other Things to Note:
We provide passes for on-street parking or in city lots nearby.

We do not allow dogs, and Michigan law prohibits the smoking of any substance (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and e-cigarettes/vaping) in short term rentals used by the public. A $200 additional cleaning fee will be added to your stay.

There are security cameras located at the front door and in the hallway of the building.

The place was great. The instructions were super clear, and when I asked for more blankets, they were available almost immediately. The place was clean, but there was a lot of dust, especially in the bathroom. Cleaning could be improved a bit.

What a beautiful gem in downtown Bay City. We were so delighted to find this. No offensive to the local hotels but this is 10 times better than the local accommodations. Our host had fantastic communications and the instructions were clear and access to the apartment was easy. The accommodations were amazing, clean and the tidy. This place is centrally located, within walking distance to the friendship shell, the planetarium and restaurants. The next time we are back in Bay city visiting family we hope we can stay with you again. Thank you for a great visit.

Perfect accommodation. Comfortable. Many small details like the olive oil on the stove, huge bath towels and throw blankets on couch and bed. Clean. Located in the best location in the middle of downtown activities. Great restaurants, bars and boutiques. Even a craft show outside our door. Will definitely stay here again.

Fun time in Bay City

Rented my apartment for two days. Really nice place... middle of downtown. Apartment was super nice and very clean. Except for some strange noises from above my unit, it was a restful fun stay.
