Funstays Glamping! Enjoy the camping and outdoor experience in the comforts of this Park Model Cabin!

Located at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins, this Cabin is setup and ready to use upon arrival. We own and manage the park along with the Cabin and we have an onsite staff for anything needed, just like a hotel.

Located 40 minutes northeast of Durango, CO, Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins is a quiet, full amenity campground in The Vallecito Lake Community. Our park is nestled in The San Juan National Forest and backs up to the mountains. The park is a short drive to Vallecito Lake and surrounded by great hiking trails and outdoor activities. Our amenities include a dining hall for group events, game room with parlor games (pool tables, air hockey, darts), basketball court, horseshoe pit, ping pong table, and a great outdoor pavilion. We offer multiple cabins, park apartments, and pre-setup RV's for rent. We are a perfect launching point for endless outdoor fun with amenities to keep you and your kids busy when back at the park.

A personal gas grill, picnic table, and firepit are setup outside your cabin for the optimal camping experience!

‱ Fully stocked kitchen to cook your own meals which includes basic cookware, flatware, dishes & glassware.
‱ Free Cable TV. Free Wifi sufficient for email, zoom calls and social media. Streaming can be a challenge when the park is busy.

‱ Full Bathroom. (RV Park also has Communal Bathrooms w/additional showers if needed.)
‱ Standard Coffee Maker w/filters
‱ Personal firepit, picnic table & gas grill outside rental (propane provided for grill, firewood for sale at park)

Requirements to Rent:
‱ Park quiet hours of 9pm-7am is enforced
‱ No smoking, no bikes inside
‱ Not required, but we kindly ask you to remove shoes while in the rental, particularly in carpeted areas
‱ No more than two licensed vehicles of any type are permitted per site.
‱ Extra parking for vehicles and trailers is available but not guaranteed. Please reach out to us to arrange prior to arrival.

Great place to stay

Small cabin with queen bed I booked for me and my dog. It was perfect. Everything one needs with kitchenette, room, even with private propane grill outside, manicured grass and porch flower box. I will definitely book here again. Office personnel delightful also.

Breathtaking Location

This is located in a canyon area near Vallecito reservoir and the area is stunning! We stayed here while riding the Durango Silverton train and the beauty was worth the extra miles. The location was quiet, the cabin immaculate and had every amenity needed. I will gladly stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay at “Blue Spruce RV and cabins” we had no complaints. I would suggest more kitchen space like maybe a small counter left of the stove. Thanks for having us, we’d love to come back again.

Pleasantly Surprised

My daughter and I picked this cabin based on our simplistic needs and rural location. We were looking for just a convenient overnight pit stop on our first night of a traveling vacation, but our time spent here ended up being the highlight of the whole trip. It was awesome! Family reunion

The cabin was very clean and well stocked We had a family reunion outside st the picnic table and the staff was exceptional to help with any questions. Our reunion was 20 years after being apart. It couldn't have been better. The park is clean and well maintained . everyone was pleased

Gorgeous

A cute little cabin in a nice quiet area. The trees are massive, and contrast beautifully with red bark and green needles. The staff is super friendly, and there are snacks and dry goods for sale in the office. I was happy to have found a place that allowed dogs, and it seemed like everyone there had a pup with them. We had an awesome stay!
