This house is situated in the beautiful countryside with spectacular views of the mountains.
All the major attractions of the Killarney, South Kerry and the Iveragh Peninsula, West Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula are easily accessible from here.
The house has spacious grounds and well kept lawns.
This location is perfect for those who wish to be in touch with nature. The house is surrounded by farm life and wildlife.
The Laune river with its salmon fishing is nearby.
The Magillycuddy Reeks, with Ireland’s highest peak, is a great attraction for hill walkers and mountain climbers and is only 2km.
Killorglin for shopping is 6km away on the Ring of Kerry.
The village of Beaufort, the Gap of Dunloe and Killarney’s Lower Lake is 6 km.
Killarney, one of our premier tourist destinations is 15 km. Which is a huge source of entertainment and leisure activities and offers many sightseeing tours.
The beaches of Rossbeigh and Dooks are a 25 minute drive.
The local golf course is 2 km away.

    Very secluded

    We overall had a nice stay. The host was communicative, kind, and the checkout process was a breeze. However if you are looking for a place to stay that has access walking or public transportation to restaurants, pubs, or other attractions this is not the place. There is nothing within walking distance. The Explore the Area section of the listing is for the broad general area, none of the recommended places within walking distance apply to the actual location of the house. You will need to rent a vehicle or you will be paying minimum 30-45 each way to Killarney.

    Beaufort Area Stay

    This property was clean, comfortable and spacious. Suitable for families with 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large kitchen and patio. The hosts were terrific, meeting us at the property, explaining all the details of the home. Great location to explore this part of the country with Killarney 15-20 minutes away, beach/coastal areas within an hour. Would definitely rent this property again!

    Dream to “live” in Ireland for 6 weeks

    I had always wanted to “live” in the South West of Ireland. To unpack, and take daily adventures from that location. This was a perfect location to fulfill that. It was in between Killarney and Killorglin. Owners Brid and Edward met us and showed us how things worked. They checked in with us occasionally, and were quick to answer any questions that we had. It is very quiet, and in the beginning, I questioned what I done. However, when we realized that, once you leave ANY of the cities, you do get into the narrow, windy roads. The decision one needs to make, is, do you want to stay right in the city where there is traffic, tourists, and quite busy, or to you want stay a little out and have peace, quiet, and able to go into a city. We would come back here again, for sure! We had our kids, my in-laws, my brother and his girlfriend, and golf friend, all at different times. Everyone was quite impressed with the spaciousness. Bedrooms were all nice size, although the king beds were not king by US standards. 5 stars all around!! Thank you, Brid and Edward!! Until we meet again!! Mary and Paul

    This made the perfect home base for our family adventures in and around Kerry, with three kids it really makes a difference to have some space to spread out and the kitchen saves a lot of money vs eating at restaurants every night! The owners were communicative, personable and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

    Lovely house in good location for Kerry outings. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed our family reunion as ideal for children with large garden and plenty of indoor space. Kitchen well equipped.

    Just returned from a week at this location, the property was very spacious and in a quite location. We had everything we needed for our stay and was well located for the places we wanted to visit. Edward and his wife where very friendly and helpful. Would go again.

    Best Family Holiday

    We had a,wonderful stay in Beaufort. The location and views are amazing. The house itself was lovely, comfortable, clean with all mods needed for a great stay. The area is just beautiful, close enough to killarney for regular visits or Killorglin which spent our nights in the many restaurants. The neighbours were very friendly too . Pictures of the house are 100% accurate and we would happily return again. Local attractions, Beaufort Golf course , Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh Beach, Lake Carragh, all the sites in Killarney are 15 mins away , Carrantohill and the Gap of Dunloe are only mins away. Couldn't ask for more

    Lovely spacious property in rural location but ideal for trips to Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Killorgin 6min away shops, pubs restaurants and take away. Really enjoyed!
