On the ground floor: a beautiful entrance hall with traditional sweetheart paving, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a dining room, and a lounge (with fireplace, sofa, TV, DVD player, and radio/CD player). Upstairs, via the superb 15th-century staircase: a bedroom with a king-size bed, television, and an open bathroom (very large shower), and a toilet.
On the garden level: a laundry room and separate toilet.
Terrace, courtyard, and a 2,000 m² private enclosed garden overlooking the valley, with games.
Bed linens, towels, and kitchen towels are provided, and beds are made upon arrival. Firewood is included. Fiber optic Wi-Fi is available.
Baby equipment available: travel cot, high chair.
Use of the owners' swimming pool, located 3 km away, is available (€150/week). Near the church of Beaulieu-sur-Sonnet, in Charente-Limousine, this former priory (15th century, modified in the 18th century) has been completely restored using traditional materials, preserving its authenticity. Here, ancient architecture and designer decor harmoniously blend: the furniture is composed exclusively of unique pieces, which Yves specially created and crafted for this authentic setting. From the terrace, shaded by a pergola, you can admire the serene landscape of the Sonnette Valley, which flows at the foot of the village.

In 2004, Noëlle and Yves bought the old priory adjoining the church of Beaulieu sur Sonnette. Driven by the same passion for architecture and history, they completely restored this 15th century priory, modified in the 18th century, in order to create a place that resembles them... Interior architect and designer, Yves has carried out research in the departmental archives, then recreated the structures and destroyed walls, such as those of the tower, brought to light the old openings and chimneys, proceeded with the fittings of modern comfort, then produced the unique pieces that make up the furniture.
