Pretty 18th Century Town House In The Heart Of Historic Beaune Within The City W

Maison Belin is a pretty 18th century typical Beaune townhouse with beamed ceilings. Recently fully restored to provide very comfortable accommodation, with fully fitted kitchen, new bathrooms and central heating. Although situated in a quiet residential street, the house is only minutes walk from the historic town centre with its numerous restaurants (over 50) three of them Michelin starred, wine cellars, cafes and shops. It is only 10 minutes stroll also to the vast vineyards of the Cote d'Or in Burgundy. 100m from the house are the pretty Jardins des Verdures with its ancient city baths and shady, secluded seating.

Fantastic accommodations

We loved our time here. The home was located right on the edge of the main pedestrian areas. A short walk to see all the sights and dining. Vivienne was always responsive and helpful. We would stay here again on our next trip.

Great Place, Perfect Location

This townhouse is in the perfect location in Beaune. We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is close to the town center and an easy walk to the train station, only a 10 minute walk. The place is as indicated, clean, quaint, and the bedrooms were charming. There are many stairs, so if that is an issue you should consider that, but overall the place is lovely. Vivienne was the perfect host, available to answer questions, and check in and out was very easy. I would definitely recommend this property and if I ever have the pleasure to visit again, will not hesitate to stay there again.

Great stay in a fun town

Beaune is a very fun town in Burgundy. This property was in a very good location close to town - which was important to us. It is a very old property that has been nicely updated with modern amenities. Vivienne was a very helpful host and there was a lot of good information about the village in the property. Be sure to make clear if you need the second room to have 1 or 2 beds. We failed to do this, and it was a bit uncomfortable for us two old guys to share a bed. We should have let her know her needed twin beds. Also, if you have a hard time walking up and down stairs, be aware that like all of these old homes, there are a lot of steep stairs. We expected this and you should too. I recommend this cute old home for a fun stay in Beaune.

Perfect stay in Beaune

Vivienne’s house is the perfect place to stay to experience Beaune and the Bourgogne wine regions. It’s on a quiet street only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Our host was very responsive to requests and everything in the house was as described.

Lovely townhouse and quaint town

The townhouse was as described - very old but lots of character and charm with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to everything in town and to various winery tours. Property manager responded quickly to questions and provided a book with several recommendations. Lots of stairs so be fair warned - would definitely recommend this property and Beaune in general.

More “miss” than “hit”

This charming well-located house suffered on several counts. The host does not provide sufficient information—we had to reach out several times (including through an international phone call that will likely be costly!) for something as basic as the WiFi code! There was no heat or hot water and, again, no information on what to do. We contacted the host but managed to hunt down the controls and figure out how to deal with the system before the host replied. The beds were uncomfortable (need new box springs or mattresses). No instructions on how to use TV. Much of this could have been avoided if we were sent advance information which is usually forthcoming from Vrbo hosts. Once we reached the host, she assisted us but it took awhile. Beaune is lovely and we’ll certainly return but not here!

Fabulous stay

This house is perfect- location, cleanliness, super fast internet, and the kitchen was really well equipped. We are a super time. The bedrooms are on the second and third floors and the sitting area is on the fourth so it would be tough if stairs were and issue for you, but we loved it and would certainly stay here again.

Lovely home in a medieval village

Charming, lovely home. Super clean and great communication with host. Walked everywhere. Conveniently located behind Hotel de Ville on v quiet street with lots of parking. Only caveat is that home stretches over four levels with kitchen on fist level, one bedroom each on second and third levels, and sitting room on fourth level. This may not work with small children or impaired adults, but was perfect for us! Great option in Beaune!!!
