You are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog, but please let us know on booking. Please be aware that your dog must be on a lead unless it has excellent recall and you are with it as we have animals and farm fencing. If you would like your dog to sleep outside we do have an excellent dog shelter, or if you would like to go out for the day and leave your dog, you are welcome to leave it in the shelter area. Just let us know.
Likewise, if you are a horse rider and would like to bring your horse (with prior arrangement) and go into the forest situated next door, you would be very welcome as well.
Please note though, that any animal that comes onto our property, is unconditionally and absolutely at the owner's own risk.
Undercover parking and lockable bike storage are available. There are amazing mountain bike and horse riding trails nearby.
Plenty of great dining options to choose from in town and the surrounding areas, with various cuisines. Shopping is divine, especially for the ladies, and if you are into history, - My goodness Beechworth has so much of it on offer, from the historical buildings built out of the everlasting pink granite quarried from the area to walking tours of the historic precinct. The Burke Museum is an amazing example of a fine museum that houses so many items including one of the six Ned Kelly's death masks, an excellent display of taxidermy, and 'The Street of Shops' as life was back in the mid-1800s. Then, of course, you have The Asylum Ghost Tours, Mayday Escape Rooms, Billson's Brewery, Beechworth Honey Shop, and The Beechworth Sweet Shop, added to the local pubs with music often on offer. Beechworth and its surroundings are an area of discovery, and immersion wanting you to spend longer and return often. Beechworth's Golden Horseshoes Festival on Easter Saturday is brilliant, and just one of the many festivals throughout the year.
