Service and breakfast are great but constant cigarette smoke ruined the whole experience. The cigarette smoke raises from the second floor to living areas so that corridors and gets into corridors and rooms. The restaurant is also so-so. Despite the name, it doesn't have many traditional Russian dishes and is overpriced.

The entire hotel was fantastic. Though the mattress was very firm but I still slept great. As old as the hotel is you can tell in the design and layout, though it's in great condition and well maintained, plus well updated. The high ceilings in the room felt luxurious even in a small room. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Also, pay the extra for the Mercedes pick up, it was practically a recliner, very comfortable.
