We had no hot water in our room to shower then it broke all together. There are mosquitos in the room. The room is 3rd world country. Worst, we can hear everything at their front desk, phone rings, every words and even foot steps. We paid $70 but it should be like a $15 room.

Well they can schedule a pick up from airport, I had a shared bathroom which is what I booked, the staff was nice and helpful with information or comfort, I did not dare to walk out of the front door, without staff or a taxi waiting to go to restaurants or tourist excursions, after reading feedback about unsavory activities with the locals. Although I did walk with back packs just around the corner to cross the bridge to get on Ocean Ferry to San Pedro or Caye Caulker in daylight. The best part was the deck on the second floor right on the river, watching the boats go by and daily life along the water sipping some Bilikin brews, although it was quite humid.

No Reservation

When I got to the hotel I was told they had no room available for me. Evidently there was an over booking situation. They advised my taxi driver to take me to another hotel and that there would be a room for me there. That was a miscommunication because they didn’t have a room either. He finally took us to a place that had a room for me. Not a good experience after a long day of traveling.
