For the price, it was a great deal. Building is somewhat dated but our room was kind of updated. It was quiet at night. There is a pool, gym and breakfast included. For the time we spent there and in the room, it was a good deal. Would probably return.

Breakfast needs bacon or sausage ! There are still a lot of people like me that eat that . People at Tim Hortons who might not allow it in their homes serve sausage and bacon in their breakfast sandwiches . No reason not to have it in your hotel .

I hate to complain when they were at capacity, but
While the customer service was quick and friendly, the initial feel of the rooms was not ideal. There were many ladybugs in the building, as well as our room, which was unnerving. My family and I requested adjoining rooms which was easily accommodated, but one room was sweltering while the other room's temperature was more climate controlled. We also had issues with the extension cord in the room, so we had to do a lot of moving furniture to plug in our necessities. Breakfast was delicious and balanced, the location was ideal, and even though they were VERY busy with eclipse traffic, staff were very quick to address requests (extra pillows, batteries for remotes, etc).

The harbour view is beautiful and from the outside this looks like a high-end hotel. We also liked the indoor pool. This was not a cheap hotel cost-wise. However, the current management appears to be running it into the ground. We saw a room door with a large hole in it. The lobby on our floor (3rd floor) was hideous. The door to the balcony was off the track and was very difficult to slide. We also found that the workout machine that we wanted to use in the small gym was broken, as well as the ice machine was out of order.

The check in staff were friendly, but the rooms are very dated with stained tub and wallpaper peeling. The bed was so bad it had a big indent in it. The so called hot breakfast is not. I would never stay there again or recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never given a hotel a review like this before.

First off, I want to start this review with praising the amazing staff. They are all friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast area was bright and sunny- though we were disappointed we were not allowed to bring food up to our room (as per the sign on the door)… breakfast in bed is the best part of a hotel stay. It was a bit of a bummer. Downsides? The hotel is an absolute wreak. There was dried urine on the back of our toilet, the dust on things like the pictures, bed frame and the corners of the room were horrifying. We tried to find another hotel to move to, but everything was booked and we were stuck having to stay there. The hotel is incredibly dated- the elevator areas on the 4th floor were full of stains, the ceilings aged to yellow, and the corners are crumbling. Weirdly, the elevator itself was lovely.
