This is an excellent regional motor inn with lovely staff who will recommend local eateries to have breakfast and dinner. The room is clean, modernish and comfortable. It's a notch above the rest.

This place was nice and clean and while old the buildings and rooms were well maintained. However it was called Rose City Motel and the gardens were full of dead or very drug roses. It is a country town and water is probably an issue but some water on the poor garden would really help!

After making the effort to travel to Kellyland and discovering it was closed, despite calling ahead to confirm its operating hours, we decided to cancel our accommodation and head straight to our next destination in Echuca to make the most of our time. Even though I had already paid in full and wasn't entitled to a refund, I tried to cancel online as a courtesy. However, when I tried to cancel through Wotif, I was directed to contact the accommodation directly. I made multiple calls from around 1 pm to let them know about the cancellation, but it kept going to voicemail. I left a message, but they only returned my call at 11:30 pm when I was already asleep in Echuca. The customer service in Glenrowan and Benalla left a lot to be desired. Not the best experience, so I wouldn't recommend visiting those areas.
