Welcome to Deschutes Bungalow!

Walk everywhere from this exceptional Westside location close to Drake Park in the heart of Bend. Built during Bend's Mill town heyday, this craftsman bungalow has been lovingly renovated to an open floor plan with lots of light. Filled with authentic Bend charm and all the modern amenities, sunny french doors open out onto a large enclosed deck with gas grill, outdoor dining, and your own private salt system hot tub. Enjoy fabulous contemporary finishes and 'Mountain Modern' upscale furnishings. Gather 'round the fireplace and watch a movie on the giant 65" Smart OLED TV, or play games with family and friends. Prepare an unforgettable meal in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with sit down dining for 6 and 4 additional counter stools.

Sleep well on high quality mattresses with gorgeous European style bedding and luxury linens. There are two bedrooms in the home. The primary bedroom has a giant 65” Smart OLED TV with full bath which includes large walk in shower and double sink vanity. Second bedroom includes a high quality California king mattress. Shower tub combo in main bathroom, for soaking after a day of adventure.

Bunk house is an additional space separate from the home. Walk through the courtyard and enjoy a separate area fully equipped with a 75” Smart OLED TV, Xbox and DVR. Beautiful large sectional with two theater seats and sleeper sofa for extra guests. Great space for couples or kids.

Exploring Bend, you can walk to Mirror Pond and the Deschutes River in minutes. Cross a charming footbridge and walk into to the heart of downtown. Galveston Ave is also just a few blocks away. Grab a fresh juice or sandwich at Mothers' or walk to Ariana's fine dining. There are so many fun shops, restaurants, breweries, and coffee to enjoy. You can even hop on a cruiser bike provided to explore the Bend neighborhoods on your way to the river trail, the Old Mill and Hayden Homes Amphitheater.

A perfect venue for enjoying Bend, Oregon. Comfortable and clean. Plenty of outside decking with plenty of seating, a very clean grill and a great hot tub. The inside has been updated throughout with new KitchenAid appliances. Very comfortable beds. Close to downtown Old Bend. Very quiet location. In ten trips to Bend, this is the best property we've stayed in. Bluebird properties are great. They responded quickly when we had a question. You can't go wrong here!

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Deschutes Bungalow. It was one of the best vacation rental homes that we have stayed at, and we come to Bend at least once a year. The house is immaculate and so well appointed with everything we needed for our vacation. The location is ideal and so close to restaurants and a short walk from downtown. The large hot tub and bikes were an extra added bonus. Easy check in and out! We will definitely be back to this location!

Great rental in a great area of Bend OR

The house was spotless and included everything we needed for a great stay. The hot tub was clean and the house had a separate nice little bunk house an and lots of private outdoor space to enjoy. It is located in a nice area of expensive homes with walking distance to restaurants and downtown. Would definitely stay here again if back in Bend. The only complaint is all the fees added almost doubled the price. VRBO need to add in all of the fees to the price.

This place was just right. An easy walk to Spork. Market of Choice is super close. Century Drive is just a few roundabouts away. The beds were comfy. Even the towels were soft! I’d go back in a heartbeat. This place was perfect.

Great house, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Deschutes Bungalow. A great location so near downtown and yet a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was an added bonus...clean and very relaxing. Perfect Bend location

Perfect Bend Vacation Spot

Deschutes Bungalow was even better than advertised. This beautiful craftsman home was perfectly located - short walk to shops and restaurants and short drive to the best hiking trails. We will definitely book another stay here!

Central location

My husband and I along with my in laws stayed here during our son’s wedding festivities. Great central location between Deschutes River restaurants, walking and shopping and the Shevlin Park wedding location. The home was easy to find and well appointed as we cooked any meals, and comfortable. My only advice is bedroom 2 has a very high platform bed and I would be concerned with elderly or children under 5 sleeping there just to note. The second living area was perfect for taking work calls and watching tv away from the main house.

We were very happy with our stay as the accommodations were great and the location was perfectly positioned to get to everywhere easily. Lots of great places were also in walking distance. We’d highly recommend this property to anyone!

Great setup in amazing location

We visited to ski Mt. Bachelor and explore Bend and had a wonderful time. This home is perfectly located with walkable restaurants, markets and a neat food truck block. The home has very comfortable beds, a nice kitchen and hot tub.

Great Spot

The house was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We had everything we needed to make meals when we wanted and the location is excellent - walkable to Old Town and even closer to The Lot for great food trucks, other tasty restaurants, and plenty of beers. And the hot tub was a welcomed and relaxing option after a day at Mt Bachelor. Highly recommend!!

The home was perfect for 2 couples. Very neat and clean. Can’t beat the location. 2 blocks from 2 breweries and many food trucks. Short walk to downtown. Definitely would stay here again. The only negative is that 2 bicycles need maintenance.
