I liked the overall layout. Several seperate buildings, easy parking, good shade. The hotel has been here a while and needs updating. All was clean. Room needs more lighting. Outdoor chairs need cleaning. Tv remote apparently needs batteries, or maybe the tv didnt work.

The room I was in was incredibly dated and didn't feel clean. My bed didn't have a comforter and I had to request soap and toilet paper.

At check in we were told that our room was bot cleaned and that they could not clean it. They also could not move us to another room. No apologies, no discounts offered... nothing!. Obviously i cant stay in a room that wasn't cleaned so i had to refuse the room. Very upset to say the least and will never go to a shilo again!

DISGUSTING. This hotel was a nightmare. We got checked into a room that they hadn’t finished cleaning and the toilet looked like something from fear factor. New room wasn’t much better, thank god it was one night. Also, they don’t turn their hot tubs on so they’re ice cold 😂

This property feels like it hasn’t been cleaned since 1990. We had to move rooms, because the first one was absolutely disgusting and rundown. They moved us toa room much cleaner, but still very,very dirty. All of the facilities are exceptionally old and dirty. Bathroom was very dirty, needed to wipe out the shower before I would even use it. The room view was very nice and the bed was comfy.

No soap on the room or towels. Maid service didn’t clean the room at all in 4 days of me being there food was left under the bed from prior guest causing ants to be present everywhere In the room. Hot tubs were cold and pool room was dirty no toilet paper in the bathrooms and none of the 15 ice machines worked on the property overall messing parking lot. Broken outlets and clocks in the room. Overall really need a complete remodel and spruce up of the place. People smoking in the building causing my room to smell like smoke

We had booked a river view King and when arrived we were given a basic king facing the road & were told by the front desk that Expedia should not have given us the room. It was very dirty with stained floors and was not vacuumed. The fridge did not work, there was no cups for the coffee maker, no restaurant or lounge, no pool access. We felt scammed. Expedia did credit our stay.

Upon arrival we called and were told that they had a septic issue that had been fixed, but check in was backed up. Our room was disgusting. So dirty, broken chair in sitting area. No blankets on the bed. Just the sheets. The photos of the hotel online were NOT the room! We left and went to The Red Lion down the street. Fo not recommend the Shilo Inn and Suites.

Pictures are deceiving

The room had no towels, the kitchenette utensils drawer was filthy witha a long black hair mixed in with the random utensils. The tv had no power cord, staff had me going room to room to find a power cord. Tv remote didnt work once tv had power. The hotel is huge and must have hundreds of rooms and about 5 guests. The staff was friendly but clueless. Over all, it felt like staying in a hotel that is just used for laundering money.

Horrible.

Room looks nothing like Google photo. Dirty, old, smelly. No outlets worked. Bare bed frame, no skirt and the frame was old l, stained and falling apart. No ice machines worked, toilet didn’t flush. Horrible experience.

Mouse house inn

A mouse jumped in bed with us. We found mouse poop all over the room. We asked for cleaning of the room and they did a terrible job of that. The gutters overflowed causing pooling water on the walkway.

The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. I loved having a balcony over looking the river :) the only down side was their steam room wasn't working and pool area could use a little renovation. Overall, we had a stellar stay !

Well... one of the sheets had a old blood stain and we didnt notice it until the morning, and it wasnt from us! The bed was lopsided and tilted back where we felt like our feet were higher than our heads, the bathroom water/room smelled weird when the shower ran..the fridge was on and the freezer part was cold and icy but the rest of fridge was barely cold... also the screen was blurry and very out of focus with basic cable.. no netflix or any other services. We got the suite with the jacuzzi tub and it was $250.77 we feel we could have gone to the riverhouse which was a 2 min walk away for $25 more and gotten many more amenities/comfort. Probably wont stay again. And or choose a different type of room they offer to see price difference and comfort if I had to. They need to be updated!

It is absolutely beautiful property and views. When we first walked up to our room there was a large bag of trash laying on the side walk. The room looked really nice and was very warm!! Went looking for menus and found trash(used Q-tips change an old sucker) in the drawer, and all the drawers were dirty, went to go get a tissue, and the tissue boxes were empty. There was a very cool draft by the back door as the whole seal had come off, and the window was starting to come out the frame back in around the window in the door.
