I hate to complain, but this needed to be mentioned. It took 30 minutes to check in. Got to my room and the sink was leaking all over the floor. It took 30 more minutes for me to get moved to another room. I wish I could include a photo of the room. At least 40 years different from the advertisement.

The room appeared clean, however ; when I walked barefoot on the floors my feet were black.The breakfast offerings were very minimal. The soap bar was the size of a quarter. When I mentioned stairs were difficult to access our second story room not one offer to try and accommodate is.

Was very pleased to find our room upgraded to contemporary standards. Breakfast bar was just so-so, especially the weird ‘eggs’ that looked like 1/4 inch pressed discs. But the price was right, and there were plenty of options on the breakfast bar. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

My Favorite Stay!

This was the third hotel I stayed at out of four for a roadtrip I was doing. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn or the Ramada but I wanted to save a bit of money and selected Sugarloaf instead. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from my stay here due to it being a motel and the pictures online however, my expectations were exceeded. The pictures really don't do it justice and I wish I took some. First off, an issue I notice with a lot of motels are the interior of the rooms looking a bit worn down or outdated so I was very surprised how clean and relatively new the furniture looked, including the microwave. I was able to get hot water quickly and I appreciated the ammendities offered in my room as it was more than I usually would get in other hotels. I couldn't hear the people in the room next to me or below me (and I hope they couldn't hear me!). The location of the motel was great for me. Winco was next door for easy shopping and several food places and a park were within walking distance. The parking lot was huge and the site of the motel was much greater than I was expecting. I interacted with three different front desk members, all who were friendly and quick to help. The lobby was beautiful and it felt like whoever is running the business has pride for it. In the past, I've stayed at the same hotels out of convience of knowing what to expext but for this location, I want to go back because I genuinely liked it.

Front desk upon. check in wasn't so nice to the guest behind us.."listen so I don't have to repeat myself" Outlet that controls coffee maker and hairdryer etc...did not work. There were not enough towels for all 3 of us...problem fixed when I saw housekeeping.
