The Space:
Relax and enjoy the privacy paired with the experience of an authentic country homestead surrounded by herb and vegetable gardens. The indoor/outdoor living connects with the landscape and the diverse range of birds and native animals.

This charming, fully restored, self-contained homestead retains much of its original 19th-century character. The rear of the house has a beautiful indoor/outdoor entertaining space with a BBQ that opens up with bi-folding doors to a shaded outdoor seating area and spa. A fire pit is also available for guests to use during colder weather.

Step inside, marvel at the opulent Jarrah hardwood flooring and enjoy the serenity of this comfortable home. A library with couches (including attached reading lights), a fireplace, and a marble coffee table flows from the back entrance. Adjacent to the library is a dedicated office accommodating those combining work with their holiday.

The hallway leads into two queen bedrooms with pillow-top mattresses, storage cupboards, and high-quality linen. Beyond these two bedrooms is the entrance to a relaxing sunroom, with shaded views and comfortable lounging—perfect for enjoying a good book and a glass of wine.

French doors open to the outside of the living space. Relax in front of a 60-inch flat-screen TV paired with a soundbar for a well-deserved wind-down. The spacious living area includes an elegant hardwood dining table, a comfortable L-shaped leather couch, and a fireplace with a large glass window for those cosy nights.

The kitchen incorporates a breakfast bench with high seats, modern appliances, and cookware to cater for delicious at-home cooking.

Upstairs leads to a stunning main bedroom suite, including a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite, and a comfortable pillow-top king bed. French doors open up to a balcony, making the most of the exquisite landscape overlooking Axe and Emu Creeks, magnificent acreage, and Mount Alexander.

Great for friends weekend away
Good country vibe, we got a nice wake up call from the bleating lambs looking for Mum which was something different. Great to be able to have a fire in the evening.

Comfortable home with plenty of space
Weather was not good and we would have liked to have an open fire but it was not set up and there was no wood, which was disappointing. It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable with good lounge and TV. Well supplied with necessities. Outside the windows and screens had a lot of webs and bugs.

Beautiful house
We loved our weekend here, the house was immaculate and the location really magic. Waking up to kangaroos bounding around in the paddocks and watched the birds as the sun set. The jacuzzi was great and the house contained everything we needed and more. High quality appliances and furniture, lovely fragrances and a roaring fire already going for when we arrived in the dark (that was much appreciated). Local produce and a pantry with the staples. The host was great to deal with, very responsive and accommodating. It was a very relaxing stay. We will be back.

Absolutly beatiful house and the area)
We had an amazing stay. Just one complaint we had a very good stay and liked everything except that the jacuzzi didn't work. My friends agreed to rent this house only because of it and asked me to write to you that they are demanding compensation for this.
